I love The Grinch - he is also my boss' favorite character. While I like the jim Carrey version, the animated version is just a classic and my absolute favorite!

I love the Grinch. We have a couple Grinchy ornaments on our tree, one of them you squeeze him and his heart lights up. I love the part where he slithers around the house like a snake taking the Christmas stuff.

I just looked it up, and I was not completly correct. It was just the song:

Boris Karloff, best known for his 1931 portrayal of Frankenstein, narrated and provided the voice in the 1966 version of Dr. Seuss' How The Grinch Stole Christmas. But the classic solo of You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch (and all other musical numbers attributed to the Grinch) were performed by Thurl Ravenscroft, the same voice who gives Tony the Tiger his Grrrreeeeaat! sound. Ravenscroft was overlooked when the credits for the movie were added, causing concern for Theodor Geisel, who made a personal attempt to publicly note the error.

And remember Cindy Lou Who? Voiced by June Foray, she also provided the sound of Rocky the Squirrel in both the 1960's cartoon series and in the recently released live action movie.

I love the Grinch, but when I was a kid, he scared me to death. All my older brother had to do was to sing the song: "you're a mean one, Mr. Grinch" and I'd leave the room. It was even worse when he would sneak into my room, turn out the light and start to sing..........

I have a Grinch doll ( well not actually a doll lol ) that when u squeeze his hand he sways from side to side and it plays that song.
