The Official GLEE thread

I agree with the above. For Beist her first kiss wasn't about romance, it was about the kiss being the start of having hope and dreams for her future, as she so eloquently stated. I don't remeber what her exact words were, but she stated that she hasn't allowed herself to take that first step (kiss) to sharing her life with someone because she was scared to open herself up due to the fear of being humilitated. Will went ahead and kissed her so that she could start dreaming of living her life with a mate and not having that fear.

He was saying, " look, I can kiss you and you won't be scared anymore, you can let yourself open up and welcome a mate." That first kiss is a big thing to a woman, whether she is 15 or 40! Once you get over that first kiss, you become more comfortable and willing to explore other possibilities.

This was very well stated!!

I loved last night, I thought it was great.

And I am always happy to hear Puck sing!! But he he sure was a donkey's behind through most of it, I was so glad to see his sensitive side come back out at the end!

Just want to say that I totally saw it coming from the very first locker slam that the jock was gay and probably had a crush on Kurt. I really hope they write a romantic story line for Kurt soon. All the episodes lately have been fairly traumatic for him...I'd like to see him happy for a change. Now the relationship doesn't have to be with the jock (but I'd find it very interesting) but I HOPE it isn't with the singer from the Warblers...THAT story line has been D-O-N-E DONE.

Poor Beist, she had to kiss that creepy Shue... :lmao: J/K - sort of... he does give me the creeps. :upsidedow

Totally agree! I'd love to see Kurt find someone. :lovestruc But... I kind of liked the Warbler guy. :flower3:

I liked the kiss. I think it was about showing that someone cared for her and saw the the wonderful person inside. It was not about romance, rather having the moment of connection with someone. Now, if it had been more of a tonsil hockey moment, I would probably rethink, but it was about sharing a moment with her that she needed.

That makes more sense now. :thumbsup2 I still think it was unnecessary but I get it! :thumbsup2

Ew, me too! What is it about him?!

Great ending to an otherwise unsettling episode. This season is still not up to snuff with the first part of last season. I hope it's just a lull.

so what did everyone think of the show last night?

I am usually not a Gwyneth fan, but I thought she was wonderful last night and really enjoyed the whole episode. My favorite line was when Mercedes was in Sue's office and she held up the broccoli and said" Brittney thought I chopped down the tree for a village of gummy bears"! LOL

We thought it was decent. You're absolutely right, the broccoli was definitely the LOL line of the night.

We all found continuity to be a bit of an issue. Since when are there "five black guys in the school?" After Mercedes said that you could see that many or more in Kurt's hallway scene.

All in all, we still love to watch.

I don't know. I liked when Brittney said "I like Mr. Shue. He taught me the rest of the alphabet. I kept getting m and n mixed up and could't get past it." :happytv::happytv::happytv:

I think the Teri character, much like the Jesse St.James character, has much overstayed their welcome. Storyline is played out, time to move on. (oh and the sick baby thing is just straight up creepy)

Although I wondered if Teri will end up REALLY pregnant after that.

I thought Gwyneth was amazing! Very impressed! I enjoyed last night, there were some good lines. I liked Sam saying "he taught me how to tie my shoes" LOL.

Ooh, I think you may be right. Totally missed the anvil falling there.

Sick baby = EWWW!

Loved Gwyneth! :lovestruc

I am so happy to see the Sue/Will friendship END! :cheer2: Yay! Nasty, crazy Sue is back!!! :cheer2:

Imagine already being creeped out by baby-butt chinn and having to endure the sick baby... gag!!! :crazy2:
