I know! Saint AJ about sums up Alan's attitude!

You know, I was among those who were glad when the writers said they were going to use the older/long-standing characters more. But not this way! I wish they'd send Alan back into oblivion!

I also don't like Alexis again. I was starting to like her after she got together with Rick....but she's back to being manipulative & spiteful.

I don't think I'm going to be able to bare to watch the whole "brainwashing" of Michael by AJ. I wonder how long they'll drag this one out.

I totally agree! This is going to go on FOREVER! I know it's probably not a nice thing to say, but I really don't care for the character of Michael. He's just too whiney. It's really going to be annoying when Jason does find him, and he's going to be loyal to AJ.

We all know that when Sonny and Jason find out that A.J. has had him all this time that they'll kill him, either that or A.J. will get away and go into hiding until the year 2020 and then he'll come back as old as old man Quatermaine and the cycle will start all over again!

I've been out of town the last week and it sounds like I have not missed much. I did get to watch the end of Monday's show when Reese's car exploded. Gee, hasn't this been done before? Do you think Durant did it?

And Durant most definitely did it! I thought I read that he was going to be killed off? Can't come soon enough! I can't stand him!

ok beat me with a stick.. but I like Mikey finding his "inner Q", I like AJ brainwashing him.. however it is very cruel, I like that AJ seemed very touched when Michael hugged him. Don't get me wrong it is another warped storyline from GH writers... but it is being shown from AJ's point of view which is interesting as AJ is one twisted fella. AJ is also one whiney guy.. poor me.. they like the golden boy, Jason, better. He never takes responsibility for his poor judgement. The best part about the entire story.. Jason and Sam have screen time. Jason is smiling more. I LOVE it when Steve Burton Smiles!!!

As for the GH vets.. I say "Bring 'em on". Bring 'em all back... just not from the dead,,, please no resurrections. I think Alan's misplaced anger will be dealt with in a matter of time. I really do. As for the thought to be dead AJ becoming a 'saint' in the eyes of others. Haven't you ever noticed that when someone passes on much of their bad behavior is overlooked and we think only of what may have been good qualities? Also Alan feels extremely guilty for his tough love approach that he took with AJ.. he shouldn't but he does.

so there I have said it..please be kind if you do not agree with me. This thread is generally kind to those in desention. Unlike other GH boards that would probably beat me to a frazzled pulp for my views....

ah futile....I like Constance Towers and she is a great villian but there is more than the mob and the Cassidines to cause problems on GH. Port Chuck is in need of new villians, new causes, hec old causes... I miss the nurse's ball. Maybe a few family picnics in the park, maybe a few laughs.... however the Rachel character does make me laugh sometimes...

I think the hate Allan is expressing toward Jason is worse now because Jason is the first one to claim Micheal as "his" son..first taking him away from AJ. While AJ was supposedly alive.

Watching coming attractions..and have seen a spot where it looks like AJ is talking to Allan...saying something about Sonny will kill him if he finds him.
Wondering again how much Allan knew about the death being real or not.
He did come home with "ashes"...and he was the one to identify poor AJ's body...wondering if he's been playing a role all along...but then again it doesn't make sense based on his grief and he started drinking...guess we'll have to wait to see how that plays out. In any case, you'd think Allan would be pretty ticked at having grieved for this guy and pretty much been the only one...and then find it's all been a ploy to get Micheal back. And has the family also forgiven AJ for stealing all their money...they don't seem to mention that. Looks like they may actually be having things move along quite a bit this month. Lord, I hope so..because you know when the summer comes they d..r..a..g...things out forever. I think Carly was locked in that damn room by Rick all summer that year!
Luke...either give this guy a real job..or just let him go. He is such a good part of the show..(like when Lucky was in coma)but I agree always chasing Helena...it's getting old...and done too many times already. How great would it be to have him find Micheal and be able to bring him back to Sonny...thus wiping the slate clean..and Sonny would let him live! I mean it's a different twist from the same old "find Helena" thing. And there poor Nicholas sits in Jail..when everyone knows the witch is alive. She's been spotted by more than one person..you'd think they could get him out on bail or something while they invesitgate it. Not that I miss the Emily/Nicholas stuff..that has been redone over, and over also.
I do enjoy that Sam and Jason are getting a bit more play..and Jason gets to have more than just the plain...stern look. They should use him for more than do. I think he has a greater range...and they need to move and develop him a bit. They could have Sam bring that out in him.

This May, Sonny gets full custody of Kristina!

Insiders tell us that
both Sonny and Jason will be out of the mob
by mid-summer (think July).

Another tidbit...Sonny's decision to go legit is not going to be a happily-ever-after tale. His fight will change from one over territory, to fighting his enemies who are coming after him because of his leaving the mob and what he knows.
This will not be a short term story, expect this arc to last for quite some time.

Sam and Jason will marry in 2005.

Ric and Sonny grow closer.

Alexis is driven to change her strategy, and leaves Ric out of her plans.

It appears that Sonny has a new enemy that surfaces. Threats are received.

New worries arise for Sonny's family. Are any of them really safe?

A passionate moment between Sonny and Reese is observed by Carly (Tamara's final scene).

4/18 Jennifer begins airing as NUCarly.
She discovers Sonny and Reese in bed.
4/19 AJ enlists Alan.
4/20 Lorenzo lends a listening ear to Carly's troubles with Mikey.
4/22 Sonny and Carly have a difficult road ahead
in earning back Michael's trust.



Sam, Jason and Carly learn from Court that not only is
AJ alive, but that Rachel was working with him.
Rachel sends them to where AJ and Michael have
been staying. Jason and Sam check it out and
deduce that AJ is about to skidaddle with Mikey.



The first person to see AJ, with Mikey, in Port Charles is...
his grieving father, Alan!
AJ tells him his story, and is able to peruade
Alan to cover for him.


AJ seeks out help from Skye.
Skye turns away from AJ. in disgust.
Later, she agrees to help Jason.

Carly is at the park playground with Lorenzo, hoping
for another vision of Michael, when he appears before her,
in the flesh! (He snuck away from the mansion to check out the
new playground.) Carly is thrilled to see him but
shocked when, as in her visions, he tears into her for
not loving him. He takes off before she has a chance
to react.

Sonny and Carly are overjoyed to see their son,
Michael however, feels otherwise. It seems AJ's
version of events have taken their toll.

Naturally, they are furious, and naturally AJ will have to pay!
Or not.

Monica comes upon AJ, but unlike Alan she is unwilling
to protect AJ; she contacts Jason. Next, Alan has serious
misgivings when he sees AJ being somewhat rough with Emily.
Feeling cornered, AJ uses his gun to create a distraction--
and manages to shoot someone. SupaJason is next
upon the scene and the two brothers engage in what
appears to be a fight to the finish.


Suddenly, Alan finds himself facing the errors of his ways when
Monica's life is endangered.

A person's ticker stops ticking...for a moment or forever?

Does anyone have a guess as to whom Durant in talking to in the confessional? I wouldn't have guessed this, but the voice sure does sound like Mac Scorpio's! I've been thinking that for several days. Maybe he's just providing the voice for someone who will never be seen?

I'll be sorry to see Tamara go. I've enjoyed her as Carly.

I'm not looking forward to Nicholas' return,as it will likely mean more Emily.

Are there any other long-time GH fans (like ones around 1979, when AJ was born) who find this current "favorite son" among the Quartermaines somewhat ironic. Back when AJ was first born, Alan was a little resentful because he thought it might be Rick Webber's child (the fact that Monica, while she was in labor, said "It's Rick's baby" didn't help). And then since Jason's biological mother is Alan's former mistress (what was her name, Susan Moore?), Monica wouldn't accept him initially (I still wonder what changed her mind). So, 20 years ago, Alan disliked AJ and then Monica disliked Jason. Now it's just the opposite-ironic, huh?

I've watched off & on since high school & thought the same thing. Although I wouldn't have said ironic so much as ridiculous. Someone said that Jason became the golden boy because he was always good at school etc - but something still seems missing in the whole scenario.

I've been watching forever and don't know how Jason became the golden child. I seem to remember that Jason was very ill as a child and that was when Monica seemed to change towards him and became his mother.

I have no idea who is in the confessional. I read a spoiler that said it might be Luke but somehow that one doesn't ring right to me.

I too will be sad to see Tamara go. She really made Carly her own.
