Good Lord in Soap Opera heaven.. what the hec is going on over at GH!!!!

They had better reconsider letting all of those veteran actors go!!
Is ABC trying to muck out all of the vets to push the teen/young storyline?... I admit to liking Georgie and Dillon! but I miss the older characters like Alan and Monica.. and Luke and Skye are a hit, Sonny and Carly have just had to much screen time and have worn out there welcome... put them back burner for a bit.. then let them resurface with a strong storyline.. but not 45 minutes of S+C 5 days a week.. tooo much.......

Kin Shriner.. oh man.. that is one talented fellow... GH.. misused him this time.. he has chemistry with so many of the other characters.. hec he makes a funny bad guy. Maybe they should hook him up with Tracy for a couple weeks.. now that would be fun.

GH without EDWARD??..... THAT IS just idiotic!!!
Wally Kurth another talent being set aside... Where is Nancy Grahn?? Alexis come home!!
Chad Brannon.. what a find this kid was.. look how Zander has grown.. he is a good guy then a bad guy.. flexibilty is key!!
Nik and Em..... Love them.. I hope the writers make them a strong couple.. but not let them get boring.
Tracy.. gotta love Tracy.. even when she is very bad.. she is FABULOUS..
Jason and Courtney... GIVE THEM A LIFE!! Jason needs to break away from the mob and stop nipping at sonny's heels... Put Courtney in the Nursing program at GH...

I admit I stopped watching AMC when they tossed many of the main characters to go with all of the young kids... I like some of the storylines..
but dang it... I don't want teens and young twentysomethings to take over GH too... Diversity in actors and storylines with a foothold in the series ROOTS is necessary to hold on to long time viewers and grab the attention of new viewers.

Jax & Sam: Starting to like more, but I liked her with Sonny & the short scene she had with Jason was great IMHO

I agree, but I think it's because Sam reminds me so much of Brenda; hair, skin tone, small frame, clothes, etc. Brenda had a bigger mouth though! Sam is soft spoken.

I love Skye and Luke together, they really have chemistry!

Sounds like they're really cleaning house at GH! I'll miss Lucky, he's a good actor, but really had no storyline to speak of. I used to like Scott, but hated what his character had become in the last year or so.

Don't like Zander, never really did. So buh-bye to him!

I agree that Sonny and Carly have too much air time. Send them away on a vacation already!

Since Lucky is leaving, I'd rather see Elizabeth with Jason than Ric, he is just a slime ball!

What did you think of the "Christmas Carol" episode with Luke? I loved it. Usually I don't like episodes like that, but I really thought it was good. Especially since Luke has been such a horse's behind the last few months (or even longer). Is Greg Vaughn (Lucky)leaving? I wish they'd keep him, I think he is good.

I thought the Christmas Carol episode was pretty good! Anthony Geary is an excellent actor, I can't help but think they could do so much more with his storyline.

I loved the Christmas episode when Luke was running around inviting everyone to his house. He's been too dark and sad for too long, they need to bring his spark back. It brought a tear to my eye as he stood out on the porch telling his "angel" it was all for her.

As far as getting rid of alot of veterans, I think that stinks. I like some of the young actors, but some I don't. (like Sage, Yuk!) I don't like Sam. I think she looks like she's in kindergarten! Sorry, jmo.

I did see some soap stars agent interviewed on Soap talk and he said that the daytime soaps are really struggling and need to lighten their salary loads if they are to survive another 5 years. He said that if a reality show ever comes on during the day, it will be the death of the soaps, because the reality shows are so cheap to make.

The Christmas episode was great. and you are right.. it did show that the writers could give Anthony Geary a much better storyline so that Luke could stop doing the same old, same old........

Somehow I missed AJ's exit from GH. I keep hearing from the Q's that AJ embezzled the entire Q fortune...... funny that could have actually been a GREAT storyline to utilize Billy Warlock. Were there ever any scenes showing this behavior... and how did AJ leave? Was it so brief that I missed it one day?

Mamajoan-I think it pretty much all happened in one day.

There were only 2-3 scenes. One where AJ said he quite ELQ and Ned took took it over. Then Edward received a phone call saying all of the ELQ accounts (business and personal) were wiped out. AJ said he was going to get to the bottom of this because his account was wiped out too.

Then later it showed Edward answering the phone. He put AJ on speaker and told the family he had cleaned them out. He was at some beach resort somewhere with LYDIA! That was it.

I read that Greg Vaughn's Agent said he was NOT leaving GH. I thought he was really good on the Christmas Eve episode. I hope the writers start giving the actor's better written storylines!

I'm glad Greg V is not leaving as Lucky. I really like him. I keep reading they might rekindle Luke and Sonny's friendship. I hope so as I always thought they were good together.

I also read that Cameron may be leaving town and taking Alexis' baby with him, so that he can protect baby Kristina from the Cassadine life.

I read Steve Burton is in contract negotiations.

I like some of the reality shows.. but geez I hope they don't wander over to daytime.

I hope they don't hit daytime either. I don't watch them as my life is enough of a reality.

I hope you are right about Luke & Sonny, they are much better together when friends than when they are enemies. I hope Cameron stays! I think if they put some time into the story (i.e. gave them some airtime), Cameron & Alexis could be a great couple.

I don't want reality TV in daytime either. I like a couple of the reality shows, but if they were on 5 days a week, I think it would get old.

Oh, I don't like Sage either (I didn't much like her when she had lighter colored hair, a different name & was accusing Ned of rape ). I do like Sam, though. I think I read where she may have some more story with Sonny which I think will be good.

I just read on a board that SID is reporting that "the door has been left open for Kin Shriner to return as early as late winter."

And the firing of Greg Vaughn has been denied by ABC.

I missed today's episode. I will have to catch it on SoapNet tonight.

Courtney: WHATEVER!!!! I agree with you 100%. She is the single most annoying character on GH (and that says a lot, when Sage is around!). What irritates me so bad is how she gave Elizabeth such a hard time when she & Jason broke up.."Elizabeth, you just can't handle what Jason does for a living...I can....blah, blah, blah".

Oh, who likes the Emily/Nicholas "pirate" story? Not me!!!

The pirate story is about as exciting as The Dead Man's hand!

Courtney is boring because she is nobody except a filler for Sonny/Carly/Jason. She has no personality, no identity, nothing. Maybe if they develop her character away from them she would be better.

Have you read the rumor about the Haunted Star sinking and taking some PC people with it? Right now the rumor is Edward, Lila, Sage, Brian, Mike, and Zander! This might change because Edward is supposedly on recurring status now. It is also rumored to be the PC Hotel burning down and not the Haunted Star.

And Alexis gives Kristina to Cameron to have him take her away from PC. She has reason to believe that Sonny knows that Kristina is his. This is just DUMB!!!!!

Okay, who saw the show yesterday? What did you think of Carly/Alcazar? I'm sick of Carly and I don't think I'd like to see her with Alcazar. I haven't been too interested in the show lately. Between Courtney, Carly and the pirate story, there isn't much to keep me interested.
