HOLY SMOKES!!! I DID NOT SEE THAT COMING!!

Gotta love SoapNet! I watched Friday's GH.... and when Carly's head rolls to the side I NEVER expected to see that she was shot in the head! That was a wicked twist in the storyline!! and I was happy to see the twist.... hopefully it will perk up the story and we won't see so much hand wringing and repeated scenes of Sonny "just doing this to protect his family" conversations....

Sonny... needs to see a Psychiatrist!!! PRONTO!
Courtney and Liz need to take out accident insurance!
Carly... the girl needs to wear sneakers and stay on the ground floor of all buildings!
and Jason... dear Jason.... STOP following Sonny's lead.....

and to the writers at GH... PLEASE give SCREEN TIME TO CHARACTERS OTHER THAN THOSE WHO HUDDLE AROUND SONNY'S ANGST!...... I enjoy the Corinthos Clan.. but gee whiz Port Chuck has an abundant source of talented characters from which to draw new stories.

I would love to see Luke and Tracy cross paths... ah wit abounds with Luke and Tracy!

I am tired of the Corinthos clan and I'm ready for Sonny to take a vacation! Alone!! Lol Since no one seems to raise their own baby on this soap, I have visions of Alcazar raising Sonny's real kid, while Sonny is raising AJ's real kid! The question is...if it gets that far, who will be raising Alcazar's kid? Carly never seems to stay with the "real" father of her children.

I must say that I am enjoying Luke and Skye's chemistry, which is surprising to me, because I really have not liked her character at all. However, she almost has some of the flair that Alexis used to have when she had scenes with Luke. If that makes any sense! How is Luke NOT going to jail, since he's admitted/boasted to practically everyone that he killed Stefan! And we know...no one serves jail time on this soap!

Dillon makes me smile/laugh too. I think he's pretty fast on his feet with the wit. I just wish they'd find a hair style for him! Lol And yes, bring on Tracy Q! I'm ready for this soap to be shaken and rocked!

Well, I never SAW it! LOL, I watched the whole show and when Carly turned her head at the end I thought she was just going into shock from hemorrhaging again. I didn't even see the gunshot wound! I think I would love to see Carly with Alcazar, shake things up a bit. Maybe Sonny will hook up with the look alike Lily. How creepy would that be?

Don't forget how people reappear from the dead. If they do send him to jail, they will have to release him when Stefan miraculously shows up alive again one day.

I'm betting Sonny will say that Alcazar shot Carly so he doesn't have to take responsibility. I hope though, that this will convince Carly to leave Sonny and go be with Alcazar.

I FF through much of the show, but think I heard Jason say he was wearing his bullet-proof vest.

I LOVED Nicholas' costume! If I had a man in my life, he'd have to dress up as Jack Sparrow for me!

I know Tracy Q is due back any day now...think it was her?

Tyler Christopher is definitely HOT!

I am not liking the Sam and Jax pairing. I hope they do not make them a "couple."

It is rumored that Gia, Lydia, and Lila are departing GH. I don't think I will miss Gia or Lydia. Lila just fascinates me because she is 90 IRL! I hope they keep her on recurring status at least.

I read in Soap Opera Digest that AJ is leaving, too. Sometime in December I think.

I read somewhere that Sam and Jax are supposed to end up a couple.

I never thought about Coleman doing the gassing at Luke's bar, you're probably right, and AJ was in on it.

So what does everyone think about Carly's dreams? Is she going to want Lorenzo when she wakes up? Also, what do you think about Liz and Zander? I think she still loves Ric. The Sam/Jax storyline still isn't growing on me, I wish they'd finish that story and move on. I do however, like Emily and Nicholas together.

Frankly, I'm getting tired of the black and white dream sequences. And what is up with Alcazar's hair in the dreams? It looks like it's either sprayed heavily with hairspray, or it's a wig.

I think that Carly is going to wake up with either amnesia (it's been a while since anyone has had amnesia on GH) or mild brain damage/memory problems and will think that she and Alcazar are together instead of her and Sonny.

But who knows!

Carly wakes up and remembers parts of her life with Sonny. She also remember s her love for Alcazar form her dreams. She goes to him. Also when she holds Morgan she feels nothing.

I think the Liz/Zander thing was to write in Rebecca's RL pregnancy. Maybe a Who's the Daddy storyline or maybe it will bring Ric and Elizabeth closer together. Zander is supposed to be getting a good storyline.

What did everyone think of the 2 new characters today? I thought they are both VERY good looking! I hope they stay around. GH could use some new eye candy!

I admit I have not been following GH faithfully lately. The cards and Carly's dreams have been more than I can bear! However, I am watching this week's episodes on soapnet while piddling around the house and I must say that Dillon is cute and funny. That young man is going to have a bright acting future. imo

It's fun to see some of the old timers get a little more screen time and I like seeing Luke have that twinkle in his eye again. Tracy Q is living up to my expectations and she has been giving me some chuckles. If GH can wrap up some of these humdrum stories and start integrating the old stars with some of the old flair, it may start being more interesting (at least to me ) again.

Any one have other thoughts?

I think Tracy is great! I did not watch the show when she was a regular before.

I thought the Dead Man's Hand was the most boring story. Now that it has moved out of that first faze I think it is much more interesting. I like the interaction between the characters.

Now I think the Sonny/Carly/Alky story is SO boring! Jason and Courtney are boring! YUCK!

Dillon is great! I like him and Georgie together.

What do you all think of Brian? I like him and Courtney together.

And did anyone else notice Gia is no longer in the opening credits? I know the actress was leaving. I guess they decided not to say good-bye!

Hi, came to this thread once before but haven't been back for a while because GH just makes me tired lately. Maybe it's all the dreaming going on.

Just got my Soaps in Depth in the mail and looks like they might re-cast Gia, don't know why they think this would be necessary. UNLESS....... it's because they have just hired a new Justus and they plan on mating these two.

How about this for stupid - the new bad-chick Alky's niece is leaving already due to some prior commitment so they are re-casting the role with the girl who said Ned raped her! While I didn't like the new girl and am glad she is leaving, isn't it just a little soon to be using that girl again in a different role?
