The area sure has changed over the years, transitioning from a solid working/middle class neighborhood into the gentrified shopping/restaurant district it now is - still, right along side the neighborhood.

Those hills! I don't know how she did it! She used to walk to St. John's on Rector Street up until she was 85 years old! I was christened in that church too, along with my grandmother, mother, aunt, etc.

Get ready for more change. My grandmother passed away last year and my mom (and my aunt) just sold her house last month. A hotel chain bought it. Evidently, they've also acquired several other houses on her street as well.

Won't be long before the wrecking ball & bulldozers come in.

I was so upset today when Jason burned the picture of the sonogram. I can't believe he did that. I know not being a father to the baby is hurtful for him
but that could be the only thing he ever has of his baby.

Sorry to jump in here but I have been a GH Fan since 1976 when I was 5 yrs old and my mom used to make me watch it. I am dying for some spoilers!!! Can you fill me in where to find them? Thanks!

Yes I read the spoilers, but Jason doesn't know we read spoilers, I still think
at this point for him it is upsetting that he would burn the sonogram.

It is sad, but I think, after today's conversations with S&C he is more determined to stay away. Of course no one think that will REALLY happen.

I couldn't believe they picked Manayunk--- I had to call my husband in and replay it for him--- too funny (we're born and raised in Philly)--- we thought that was pretty cool. I thought I read that the actor who plays Spinelli had some ties to Philly-- I could be wrong though.
