Yeah, my eyes bugged out when I saw that commercial too... but Maurice Benard just recently signed a new 3-year contract... he's not going anywhere.

I read on the ABC msg boards that the ad was VERY misleading. It says, "GH gets a new Sonny".... meaning, Sonny becomes a new man after he gets treated for his bipolar. It also talks about Tamara Braun (old Carly) returning... what the article inside talks about is her new role in a new movie... so she's "back"... not on GH, but in a new job.

Hi gang! Haven't posted in a while because summers been really busy and I only get to watch all of the shows once a week. Here's my thoughts of late.

Maxie & Lucky ...... ok this storyline needs to stop. I can't believe Liz hasn't said to Lucky "Honey you really look horrible! Why are you all ashen and sweaty looking?"

Dillion/Georgie/Lulu/Diego .... boring boring boring! I guess I just don't connect with any of the characters and that's why I think their storyline is boring.

Alexis/Ric/Sam ..... I have no problems with Sam getting back at Alexis, but I just don't want her to sleep with Ric - that's just plain gross!

Sonny/Jason/Carly .... I am really enjoying this break down storyline. I really like Carly and Sonny being friends. I think that they would be better being friends than married. The three of them have very good "friends" chemistry.

Sonny/Emily ... according to a spoiler sight they are OVER! Thank goodness and not soon enough!

Nicholas/Emily ... they need to get back together

Carly/Jax ... I can't wait for him to get back. I hope that the spoilers are right and the baby turns out to be his

Robin/Patrick ... they drive me nuts! I have never been a Robin fan. Their constant bickering is driving me insane. They sound like my 2 & 5 year olds!

Robert/Anna ... I hope they get a real storyline soon or bringing them back will have been a waste like bringing Noah back was.

Max .. what can I say! He is awesome! I am so glad to see that they are giving him more air time and more lines!

Lorenzo/Skye .... I really like these two together and I hope that they are going to work this out.

When I catch up at the end of this week I am sure that I will have more to write.

I was so confused & bummed when I saw that commercial. I couldn't imagine anyone else playing Sonny. I hit the internet trying to find info but I couldn't find any. Thanks for clearing this up!

Just gotta say I can't fast forward fast enough through Sonny and Emily. What is with her outfits lately and her hair and why doesn't she have a life! I'm sorry but I just want to slap her, so I'm really surprised that Carly hasn't. And don't even get me started about Sonny just standing around looking perplexed. Bipolar my foot! I want the old Sonny back, the suave, gentleman gangster with a backbone and a brain in his head!

I'm with ya! Whenever a Sonny/Emily scene comes on, I'm grabbing for my remote to fast forward. I'm tired of her lecturing Jason over and over about "enabling" Sonny. Between her and Robin, there's a lot of self-righteous babble going on in Port Chuck.

I hope the rumors are true that Sonny and Emily may be history soon. That has been one awful matchup since day one.

Those commercial's were very misleading. I've missed all of last weeks and this weeks show. Looks like it will be a TIVO weekend for me. By the sounds of it, I may only have to invest and hour or two with all the fast forwarding that will be going on.

Wow so glad I found this thread , general hospital is my all time number one soap lots of thread reading to catch up on. Now lets get down to business rumor has it Stravos is returning ( wonder why) and the 50 million dollar question who is Sam's father . Rumor has it we will be shocked. Also I can't wait until Sonny and Emily end their relationship not a good match. And finally the rumor of Jason leaving the mob (why).

All this talk about how fun it is to watch Max, just thought I'd share....
IRL, the actors who play Max and Nikolas are cousins. I don't remember ever reading this on this thread. I do enjoy Max's scenes.

There have been several "slap Em" posts, it would be easier if she'd stop rubbing her face. Remember how bad it was in the epidemic, she hasn't stopped. I'd like someone to slap her too, but I am fast forwarding so fast through most of her scenes that I'd miss it if someone did. I think this Sonny story has all but ruined her. I don't get the way she's playing the character.

The Lulu and Tracy scenes were great. Rarely can one go wrong with Jane Elliot in a scene.

I agree with everything you posted. Also, I'm soooo sick of Emily's whispering, why can't she speak up?!?!?!?! I'm also getting really sick of seeing Carly. I feel like she is almost every scene. And I'm pretty tired of Sam begging Jason to take her back. I really hope they don't get back together. I hope they don't have Sam sleep with Ric, YUCK!

It was rumored that Emily was pregnant in real life this past May -June, but the yellow dress she had on the past 2 days stopped those rumors.

Anyone else notice Max is the incredible shrinking guy-I actually thought he was a new actor yesterday. He used to be the big, bulky, muscle body guard with unkept curly hair. Now his hair is clipped real short and all his suits are hanging off of him.

I believe that was a different actor, its supposed to be Max's brother Milo

I had a dream the other night that I happen to be in the Wilderness Lodge with a few friends, and all of a sudden Patrick comes up to us and doesn't say to anyone in particular..."meet me on the 4th floor" and he winked. So...all of my friends and I were trying to stop each other from getting on the fourth floor to see Patrick...I don't remember anything after that, lol.
