I just watched today's episode on soapnet and for a moment, couldn't believe my eyes. John Ingle was back on the show as Edward Quartermaine. I had no idea he was returning, but I was so glad to see him. At the same time it was like he never left. I could never accept the actor who played Edward for the last two years. Does anyone know if today was his first day back and will we be seeing a lot of him? Has he left the other soap he was on?

Yes, it was his first day back and he is back for good....he left Days of Our Lives.

Just a thought..does anyone think the Sonny/Jason break-up could be fake?...sort of Staged..to get at Manny or a "business" decision? Jason takes over the "business" by going to Sonny's when he's out of town and taking his computers and files? How ridiculous is that?..I'm sure the mob is keeping accurate records on computer...?? Lets keep everything documented! Everybody knows a proper take over requires a "hit"...? This entire situation is sooo old really. I just don't get it...because how come it was alright for Jason to freakin' MARRY Sonny's sister...but Sonny can't date Emily? Just ..something's missing from this given the history. He's so worried about Sonny going to his "dark place"...please..the woman is supposed to be a Dr. Emily should start him on antidepressants yesterday! Maybe they need to address his "darkness" issues..and finally deal with them. Jeeze...even Tony Soprano goes to therapy. Come on already. This is just dumb.

Also..regarding Nicholas...I agree..this guy needs to get a backbone. He is supposed to be a Cassadine! I hope he finds out he's the papa...and then there will be Cassadine hell to pay for the deception! THAT would be interesting.

Well of course one can never be totally for sure, but from everything that I have read it's not a fake. They finally want to take the relationship in a different way and open up some new storylines.

It's not fake. Eventually Jason will be out of the mob and working with Robert and Lucky.

The story does seem a little lacking, but I am glad they are taking the characters in a new direction. The mob stuff is old.

I agree with Jenn Lynn, I'm sick of Sonny and the Mob. Let them send Sonny on a long trip and bring him back as someone else. His character and storyline are long played out.

Count me in as another one who is SicK of the whole Sonny/Jason mob thing. I really hope the story line is not a set up to get back at Manny. Remember a few years back when they faked Sonny's death. It makes me wonder if they are doing this whole breakup thing to take the threat away from Sonny so he can be free to be with Emily. Yuck just the thought of them staying together us gross. We never get to see Jason's meetings with the other families. I wonder if he splitting up their turf. Just typing this makes me think I need my head examined.

Wow, did you mean "NOT to be his", or is GH up to the usual change the storyline stuff? So the paternity test papers that named Nick as the father were...? Altered? Forged? A figment of our imagination? LOL!
