Just curious as to why some of you say you can't see Rebecca Buddig(sp?) in the role of Brenda. Having never watched AMC (at least not in the past 30 years), I don't really know the actress. I do know that whenever I have seen her in commercials I have thought how stunning she is, with those huge brown eyes. So looks-wise I think she would be an okay Brenda replacement (though I agree no one will EVER be Vanessa Marcil); what is it about her that wouldn't work? Her acting ability? Personality? Voice? Just curious.

I think she is a fine actress. I don't really have a problem there. I think the voice would bug me a lot. Vanessa's all sultry, lower voiced, she's so low-key at times. Low-key, but so very powerful. I am used to seeing Rebecca in a more "flighty" (for lack of better term) fashion. I think she would do better in a more comedic role, instead of one that has such a tulmultuous history like Brenda has (breakdowns, her mom being nuts, all the history with Sonny). Yes, she did some meaty scenes when Leo died, but to have to do those scenes all the time??? That would be a waste of her acting chops. I will say, however, that I could SO see her with Jax. I like the nunuCarly, but IMHO, she does not have the same kind of chemistry with him as the old Carly did. I think that TPTB saw that as well, and that is why she is with Jax now, who she does have some chemistry with.

Did anyone else crack up when Jax took Michael and Morgan to Disney World for the day? They barely left and they were back home already. It was still the same day and it was still light outside. They brought back tons of souvenirs. They must have only gone to the gift shop and nothing else.

What I was really cracking up about that WDW trip was that Michael was wearing a long sleeved shirt, and Jax was wearing a coat and tie. This is Disney World in April! But then I should have known they don't acknowledge the weather. After all, this is the same place where the women have all been running around in sleeveless clothes all winter.

Does anyone know if the actress who plays Skye is pregnant in real life? That might explain why she seemingly got so big so fast. Maybe she told them when she was about 3 months along, they quick wrote the pregnancy in, and now she's really about 5 months along. She does look pretty big for someone who supposedly just found out she's pregnant.

I sure hope they do not recast Brenda. Only Vanessa can play Brenda. It is about the person. Her and Maurice had great chemistry. I could not stand Rebecca on AMC. I was glad she left. My biggest fear is she plays the role of Brenda. If that happens my GH days will be over. The best recast GH did do was Carly. Her and Jax are great together.Now they need to get Emily away from Sonny. That has to be the worst pairing I have seen on a soap!

What a week on GH!

I won't let on too much for anyone who hasn't caught up yet, but wow!

One of my favorite scenes was between LuLu and Luke when she asked him to start acting like a father again and he just said "waaaaaahhhhh" really loud practically right in her face! That was too much!

The funeral for Jessie was emotional, reminded me a lot of my father's funeral. I had more than a few tears running down my cheeks.

And Carly, Carly, Carly....what WILL you do with the information you've become privy to? She asked for a sign from Courtney, and in walked Nikolas behind her...hmmm.......

And I agree about the recast with Carly. I love this new one, I think she is perfect for the role, and another plus is that she isn't rail thin like the second Carly (after Sarah Brown.)

(not that there's anything wrong with being rail thin, I'm just saying!)

For some reason Luke and Tracey are renewing their vows.

Carly had a halter type dress on too yesterday and she really needed some support. I was thinking didn't anyone look at her and say push-up.

I am really liking this story between Sonny and Jason. I hope they get into a fist fight and Jason beats the mozzarella cheese out of the Italian Stallion! I have to give it to MB he can really make Sonny a dark character.

The Alice/Luke fantasy was great! She is a trip!

I was all for giving Sonny and Emily a try - but I am over it now... I really liked Emily before, but now I am starting to not enjoy her at all. Her acting is getting to me. Now, Maxie - I think is doing a fantastic job. I am really impressed.

I agree about the re-cast for Brenda - it would be odd..

I also agree about Carly needed to be wearing a bra... I mean come on...

I haven't tuned in much for the last month because I can't stand some of the storylines i.e. Sonny & Emily. Everytime I see them together I think they look like father and daughter and woud somebody puhleesse call child and family services! The other one that's on my nerves is the Patrick/Robin/Noah storyline. I think all three of them could go! I didn't see any of the Jesse funeral.

However, I've caught bits and pieces of this weeks shows and I agree that the Luke/Alice fantasy was funny. I also love it when Luke and "Spankybuns" have their heart to heart conversations.

The Jason/Sonny drama could be pretty good. I agree that MB goes to the dark/depressed side so easily it's almost scary! I'm wondering if somehow Elizabeth will become a little more involved with Jason since he told her that Emily would need her regardless of what happens between him and Sonny. That might cause a rift between her and Lucky. I've always liked Liz and Jason together, but I also like her with Lucky. Just don't want them made into the most boring couple on GH.

I do like the NuCarly. I think she's taken the character and run with it. I like her with Jax. It gives a new dimension to both of their characters. However, will she or won't she tell Nikolas about the baby? Part of me says she can't because that will make her no better than Robin. It will be interesting to see how this plays out! Hope the writers don't screw it up!

Maybe things will get better now that we're heading into May sweeps!!

She found a document on Jax's desk that stated the father was Nikolas. Courtney and Nik had a second paternity test at Mercy Hospital because they thought the first test done at GH might have been tampered with.
