Is Guza gone, just because of the writers strike? Or is he gone for good? I hope for good. Remember the good old days when the cops (Frisco, Sean, Robert) were the heroes? I miss those days.

I think Guza is an awesome writer. There has been a few times over the years when he has left. THe writing has suffered.

Guza only really liked a few characters on the show (Sonny and friends)--he wrote horribly for the remainder of the cast, IMHO.

I think Guza has fogotten the history. I was happy when he came back one time thinking finally it was going back to being good. Someone needs to take over that cares about the characters, the stories, the past and the fans. Someone that does not kill off 3 major family/major history characters in a year and brings 2 back as ghost, while giving us a group of new people all at once that no one cares about. Their lead up to the guy being the bomber was awful. We all sooooo knew something major was going to happen and trying to make us feel bad for him. They could have slowly brought him on or not brought him on at all. I can do without yet another " NO poor people at GH" storyline. It has been done several times now.GH (hospital) would have had more money if they did not hire all those young nurses and extra thrown in docs.

It was sad to see Skye leave. I realize she is not really tied to anyone on the show anymore now that Alan and Emily are gone..since they were the only two Q's that really accepted her. I loved her scenes with Edward (because we know he is really a softie and cares) and with Luke. I do feel the writers did justice to her exit.

I have swung between loving the character of Skye and hating her, but either way, I have always thought that Robin Christopher was a great actress and will miss her on GH.

Well.... I am liking the scab writers... back to basics of soap writing so it seems.....
there are a few bumps and bruises, a few missed beats but I think they are doing ok.

I am not to keen on the bomber guy... a little over the top....well ALOT over the top what ever happened to grabbing a gun?? or holding a knife??

Skye.. and Rick . I see Skye's handing over the docks to Rick as a very good plot device. realistic... probably not... soapish... you bet!

I really like Spinelli, but I didn't realize how many people LOVED him until this year at SuperSoap Weekend. He was MOBBED. You couldn't get anywhere near where his meet and greet was. It was neat to see.

I enjoy Spinelli, but my DH can not even be in the same room I am watching GH in, Spinelli bugs him that much. He has to comment "why can't he speak normally" " does he not drive everyone else crazy" "that poor guy has to talk like that every day"Spinelli really bothers him, but some characters are just like.
