So....Alexsis finally reveals to Ric that she knows about him and Sam. All I can say is "It's about freakin' time!" :sad2:

I think you're right on the money with that.

I didn't get the whole Sonny/Liz "who do you want the Daddy to be" conversation. It didn't seem to fit well. Plus why would she come off of the elevator and just tell him she lost the test results? GMAB!

I was just saying the same thing! Why would she talk to him about this! Don't you think it would be a private matter between her and Jason? I am actually begging for more Carly and Jax right about now!!!

Who in their right mind would have let go of those results anyway. I don't care who came up to you...stuff it in your pocket....shove it down shirt....your underwear..somewhere...but I can not imagine a woman on earth letting go of that piece of paper! I mean..they blow away?....They blow away..Please.

That whole episode was ridiculous, with the pregnant woman and her husband making a blg plug for ABC's Monday night football. First they're advertising WDW (Sam and girls' visit) and now football. Puhlease--doesn't ABC waste enough of our time with our having to endure the "Alexis protecting her girls" speech, or the "Is the baby Jason's or Lucky's?" question nonstop?! Must we watch obvious commercials during the show!? Grrrr! :furious:
(I know, I know--no one is making me watch. But I'm addicted. I want to stop but I just can't! )

Wow the last 5 minutes of todays show was actually pretty good! Too bad they can't do more like that.

Lets chalk todays episode up to just STUPID! Other than the Sky drama, everything was just beyond dumb. I was actually thinking that the writers must have gone on strike and they got a 10 year old boy to write the show. I am glad that Alexis finally told Rick off. It is about time. Good Grief. I really do not Liz to lie, for whatever reason, about who the father is. Lets have someone finally be honest for a change.

Honesty in a soap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am right there with ya!!!!!!

You know, you read the spoilers and think "this is going to be good" and then the actual storytelling/writing SUCKS! GH needs new head writers BAD!

This whole sweeps thing is probably going to be lame as well. A bomb at a Halloween party?

Anyone watch Y&R? What are they doing to be number one for YEARS that GH is not doing? I think GH has great actors, but I am SO over the whole mob/violence thing (except Jason kicking the crap out of Ric.) The abortion storyline was good, but I have a feeling that Tony Geary wrote most of that (he rewrites all of his scenes.)

Want to analyze with me? LOL!

They did the same thing with the Oscars this year! Carly made a big speech to Bobbie about how she almost called Courtney to come watch the "Oscars on ABC" with her, and then she remembered that Courtney was dead. It was supposed to be an endearing walk down memory lane but definitely became shameless self promotion on ABC's part.

I remember that plug and thought "how obvious can you be?". However, I will say that I was watching Two and Half Men last night on CBS when one of the characters dissed Disney. Charlie walked in to ask Alan and Jake what they were watching on tv; Alan replied "I don't know, some Disney crap" It was rude of CBS to write that line.

I feel the very same way. I was very excited at the thought of Scorpio returning. What a DUD that turned out to be. They have done NOTHING will him. He shows up once in a while...Robin whines at him ...and that's pretty much it. No real storyline for him. Of coure he has a brother..but no story there...because God forbid Mac would have more than two lines a week.
They have Anna show up..and even Holly...just so they could be seen on the screen at the same time..but all they did was stand around without much to say or do. Again you are not going to develop a story for people who are pretty much just making cameo appearances. Then they go back to workin' the teen stuff which is so pathetic ...no teen would even watch it. Now we have Lulu as the poster teen for abortion. "I had an abortion...feel sorry for me"....they may as well put a banner on the kid. Okay..already we get it. Nothing suttle about working it into a story..she just walks around town, has conversations with anybody and everybody about it.

Frankly, I'm thinking this is what's going to go on with the return of Laura. While it's great to see her...you know it's for a short time. She's not sticking around..so there isn't going to be much developed as far as story. I hated the way they put her in the nut house to begin with. They totally re-wrote history to create that exit. Bad enough she left..but you had to destroy characters that had been on for a long time..and change their histories? Made no sense. Now I fear they will bring her back..for a few teary scenes, and then away she goes. Why bother?...For the ratings. They bring back some old favorites...get viewers to tune in...but that's about it.

Also...is it possible that ALL the writers are pregnant? All these stories regarding pregnancy. Do you think there are enough of them.
Skye, Maxie, Liz, Sam...wants to be...Lulu...was. Can they possibly think of another topic?
I've got to tell you I've watched since Luke and Laura were on the run some 26 years now. I don't EVER remember it being this boring. I don't imagine that I would stop...but in all honesty, there was a time where I would set aside that time to watch because it was my favorite. Now..if I catch it..I catch it...and if nothing is on prime time at 10 pm I will watch it on Soap Net. Maybe that's just me, but that's how I feel.

The headwriters are men which is why we have whimpy women characters. I mean Sam boo hooing because her goal in life is to have Jason's baby? Carly telling Jason SHE wanted to give him a child. Come On! At least they didn't make Liz accept Jason' marriage proposal so she could be taken care of. Everyone is shocked she didn't jump on it. Why? Because that is what they would do ala SAM!

Sonny is a yawn!

That explains alot. I was thinking what woman in her right mind would have let go of those test results(Liz)...and you see them blowing away? Come on?
Seems the only real stories lately are about impregnating half of PC at the same time...A little bizzare. I think they need some women to start writing for them. Maybe if they had some women writing for them..they wouldn't have Lulu screaming to everybody in town about her abortion. Not that I don't think they should have written it...but it's turned into her slogan. Instead of being a personal choice that was painful to make. They screwed it up if you ask me. Enough already.

I agree that Tristen Rogers has not been used enough, but I thought the scenes with him and Tony Geary with Sky about to give birth were hilarious. I really wish there would be more scenes like that. They are so funny together and you can see how much they like each other. :)

I absolutely agree. Even scenes with Tracy...they are great too. You get this little tease of how good they all really are...and then boom...back to the "who's the daddy" stories. Yawn.

I thought the Ric/Alexis blow out was good today. I actually felt sorry for Alexis and I am not even a fan of the character! Good acting IMO.

Can't wait for the blow out with Sam tomorrow!

Well it's certainly LONG overdue! That's for sure. Alexsis was good today...only it does make you wonder why it is we had to watch all those
"for the sake of my girls" scenes.
It does seem from the coming attractions that Alexsis speaks to Jason..something about "no matter how drunk she was...she knew she was with her mother's husband." :thumbsup2
She is SO right..and I am glad she is finally saying what we've all been thinking. Having Sam be this poor put upon soul, that Ric tricked into sleeping with him. It was nothing like that..in fact to me it looked as if she was after him for a while there. Trying to get back at her mother. Certainly, she could have said...oh let me think..."No...you're my mother's husband."

So what does everyone think....Jason is really the daddy?...and how many years will it be before he finds that out. Hmmm...let me see, maybe there will be a medical crisis that will require testing, and it turns out Jason is the father, after Liz spends 2 or 3 years having Lucky think it's his. Now there is a really new and innovative idea..(like that hasn't been done about 10 times on this show already!) :happytv:

I don't think it will last that long with Jason and Liz. I have read that Sam actually finds out some how and tells Jason. He has to know for the May Sweeps birth. :rotfl:

Did anyone watch Access Hollywood today? They had an interview with Genie Francis. They showed part of a scene where she sees her kids and realizes how grownup they are. OMG I was bawling and it was a 30 sec. thing!

I have high hopes for her return BECAUSE of Tony Geary's rewrites. I hope I am not disappointed.
