I was on hold for 2 hours!!!

Then, she gets 11 nights at Pop, standard, for my mom, but can't get 6 nights standard OR preferred for my inlaws.

Just then, the computer crashed, and my mom's ressie disappeared.

When the computers came back up, she got my mom's ressie back in AND a preferred room showed up for my inlaws.

(If you lost a preferred room, I apologize! )

So we are 5 rooms, 7 adults, 9 children, Pop Century, Sept. 16-22 (2 rooms) and Sept. 16-27 (3 rooms.)

i thought someone posted that she/he was made to pay the deposit now. anyone not have to pay it today?

Nope...I have till the 26th of April to pay the $200.00 deposit.

I didn't have to pay my deposit today, she told me to have it in within 14 days and it shouldn't be an issue (she gave me the date). I booked my ADR's last week and they charged me for CRT, so I told her I had to let that reverse so I could use that money for my down payment, she understood and said it wasn't a problem.

You know what I am wondering.....

It sounds like the CMs are having trouble changing existing ressies and are having to rebook a lot of people from scratch (us included).

I wonder what will happen when all those frozen ressies are released from the system. Will it free up more rooms at our desired resorts?

Or it is another way for the cm's getting new revenue instead of just modifying all day long. They really aren't allowed to do this unless there is a problem with the reservation and a manager oks them to cancel and rebook

I don't think I could either... I was literally shaking when I got off the phone after being able to change my res to include the FDP this morning!

We booked including our ever illusive Aurora Grace. We have been waiting for 17 months so she should be home by then. I know what you mean though. How old is your child? Are you waiting to be matched?

We're waiting to be matched. We have 2 (12 and 11) and we're hoping for 2 more in our match...under 11 years old. We've only been waiting a year this May, but only since December from our referrals.

Our caseworker said that lots of the social workers match faster during this time though, especially for school aged children, that way they can be home before the next school year. We're crossing our fingers for it....but if not, we'll try to book another trip including them for the next year

Good luck with your adoption I'm guessing you're adopting an infant? Internationally?
