hehe - my mom and dad are fast asleep - they think their married daughter is crazy to stay up half the night (or all night) waiting - or so she told me when I got off the phone with her about 2 hrs ago! I will be crazy all I want in order to get free dining!!!!

hey for those who are still awake - help! We stayed at ASMu last year and were planning the same this year - but with free dinning we might be able to squeeze an upgrade so
should we go with a moderate?

We personally love the mods. Our fave is Port Orleans Riverside. We have stayed there the past 2 years and are going there again this year. It is such a beautiful hotel with nice grounds and I love the Riverside Mill.

Thanks!! That's the one I was just looking at. It would kinda be nice to have a fridge in the room and not to be so far out!

Does anyone recall which resorts filled up first with free dining the last two years...or maybe never even had any rooms offered with free dining?
With the demo of part of the CR I'm betting there won't be anything offered in that resort.
I'm guessing the values go because of people looking for the best deal (free dining is a nice % off), and then the deluxes because of those that will upgrade their choice rather than pocket the discount.
What do you think?

I'd love to know this as well. From the sounds of it alot of people go for the delux or mods first because of the savings with the free dinning plan. Makes sence....if you can spend the same as you would by booking a value and paying for dinning to be able to stay in a delux or mod and get dinning free..the best of both for the same price. Sound's like a great plan/deal.

Ya gotta figure not everyone is as anxious as us dissers or as on top of things as we tend to be when it comes to planning trips to the world...so not everyones going to know about as soon as it's announced. I know it's totally hard to believe....It's taken me quite some time to grasp it myself. I don't think you'll have much trouble booking tomarrow if they announce it.

I don't think there is an "if" anymore. Didja check out http://home.disney.go.com/travel/ ? There is a chef Goofy ad that cycles saying a Free Offer. If you click it there is a blank page with a addy of Q407FreeDine!!!!!!

Everytime DS complains, ahhh, you have to go to work again mom? I always say yep, you like those disney trips? He always say's yep. So I let him know they don't just grow on trees, mommy and daddy work their butts off to pay for us to go. Hahaha

I think they are updating. It makes since, if the offer does not start until 4/6 then it would have to be after midnight on the west coast which is 3 or 4 am for us east coasters. right?

that's cool, you are teaching the value of money/work in terms of a child. good logic. I just started a pt in add to my ft job. I tell everyone the pt is to help me get through my master's but really it is for Disney first then MBA.
