33 (actually 32 because we are staying offsite the first night) days left and by this time I have our T-shirts made, our "travel box of goodies" packed, and everything else done....this year I haven't did anything yet....I don't know if I should make shirts or not because I am unsure of the weather for the week....starting to stress out

Just booked our sister trip for Feb3rd-6th at AKL a couple days ago! We are in our late 20s and early 30s and haven't gone to WDW together in over 10 years, so we are both really excited for a weekend away together to relive some childhood memories and to make some new ones too!

AKL will be perfect! I brought my mom there on a trip in Sept. and it was great. Such a relaxing and beautiful resort which is great for some down time. IF you have time take advantage of the cultural offerings as well as the wine

40 days, 40 days, 40 days... Woo Hoo!!!

Dinner first night, is the amazing Whispering Canyon Cafe.... 40 days to succulent roasted chicken, pulled pork, ribs, brisket, cornbread & mashed potatoes. I can almost taste it...

Day two: Teppan Edo,, oh hibachi grill... how I love thee

Day three: Ohana, I have yet to bask in the warmth of Ohana, but I am eagerly awaiting this day...

Day four: Via Napoli, Margarita pizza, fresh basil, tomato and mozzarella,, and a delicious glass of sangria..... ohhh,, and don't forget the desert,, the ricotta cheese fried deliciousness....

Day five: Lunch at Le Cellier Steakhouse, this is another first for me and I'm sooooooooooooooooo looking forward to the soup and bread sticks.. I sure hope they live up to the hype.... THEN, we have reservations to the Tommoroland Terrace Fireworks Dessert Party, another first... I love dessert!

Day six: Kona Cafe, our last new adventure... Steak anyone?

Day seven: Yak & Yeti Restaurant, I saved this one for last,,, because its my FaVoRiTe,,, the steak and shrimp,,,, my mouth starts watering just thinking about it... and who, who, who could forget the cream cheese won tons....

OMG are we there yet?

Now that's more like it,,,

I'm so excited, now that the holidays are over,,, and the trip is actually paid off, I have a one track Disney brain. My co-workers hate me, because I bore them to death with Disney, Disney, Disney~!

Got my MICKEY MAIL today! I was worried that DD would see it and it would ruin the surprise for DD - getting the mail is one of her chores. She came home with DH today, and he sent her to get the mail before I had a chance to remind him to make up some excuse in case the Mickey Mail came. I reminded him when I got home, 45 mins after them. He said she got the mail, and didn't get a chance to look at it because MIL was here for a visit (she lives 2.5 hours away!). So, she didn't even notice it - WHEW!

BUT after DD went to bed, I ripped open that Mickey Mail and was looking everything over with a satisfied glow, and noticed that we only had 7 day PH tickets. I had asked for 8 days, so I had to call, pay another $25ish and now I have 8 days. Little hiccup, no biggie. Too excited to care about something as trivial as that!

30 days! WOO HOO!

53 days for us! Heck yeah, we're excited!! My son now stops whatever he's doing when he hears a Disney commercial come on. Every bit of money he gets, including the quarter he found on the ground at Walmart, goes into his piggy for Disney World. And, although my co-workers think I'm crazy too, they've all joined in and one of them asks me each day 'how many days now?'. I do love them for putting up with me. I really need to start on a packing list!

31 days to go here! Just heard today that they are putting some kind of clear coat on the Poly pool while we are there. Anyone know if they will close it for that? I think I will have to switch resorts if that is the case and with only 30 days to go, I have to hurry. Got all my ME stuff in the mail last night, but I'm sure they can change that easy enough. We did room only and haven't paid in full yet, so I can still switch. Just don't know who to contact to find out if they are closing it. This was the FB post I saw from Tikiman "Rockwork clear coat will be applied at Nanea Volcano Pool from January 9 to February 21".

We will be at WDW and staying at VWL from Feb. 18-26. I am so excited!!!

I have already made all our ADRs, but I am thinking of changing some of them. My DH and kids want to go to all our favorites, but I would like to try something new. oh well...I am so excited!!
