Ok, so I love love love this show! I'm addicted! So sad it only got 5 seasons! DH & I watched the whole series through netflix a couple years back, and I just bought all 5 seasons for Hubby for Xmas . We just finished season 1 last night. Anyone who wants to blab on about favorite characters, scenes, episodes, most hated characters, scariest characters etc let's do it here, obsessively! 
This list is from season 1 only when I'm done watching 2 again, I'm going to write a new list
My 5 favorite characters
1.Kima
2.Freaman
3.Bubbles
4.Bunk
5.Wee-bay(had to add in a Barksdale person)
My top 5 most loved moments
1.When Freaman cracks Bird in the head with the bottle before they arrest him outside of the liquor store
2.When Daniels rips up the picture of Bird from his pre interview and then Daniels, Kima, & Landsman beat his butt.
3.When Bunk & McNutty work the case in the strippers apartment and only speak by dropping F-bombs
4.When Wee-bay takes DeAngelo to his house and D starts crying in the dark, and then when Wee-Bay flips on the lights, it turns out all he's doing is showing D how to feed his fish
5.When Daniels & McNutty Go to arrest Avon - Avon & Stringer are watching them on the video surveillance from the office.
My top 5 cringing moments
1.When Wallce gets killed
2.Kima's voice coming over onto the radio right before she gets shot and the radio goes silent
3. When it was revealed that Carver was spilling his guts to the higher ups(just disappointing)
4.When Bubbles got beat up b/c he pages Kima not knowing she was in the hospital
5.When McNutty loses his kids at the market
