For some reason I don't think Wicked or Wicked For Good were the darlings of the awards shows. No idea why though.

Too much over-hype. I think it backfired. Plus, when they split the show into 2 parts just for more box office money & possible awards, it left a bad taste in the voters' mouths.

I love Wicked, but I don't think Part 2 was as good. I wouldn't put it above the ten nominated. But, I did like Song, Sung, Blue and the Bruce Springsteen movie better than a couple nominated.

Train Dreams was a sweet movie of love and loss. Lots of "golden hour" shots of beautiful landscape.
