This is the BEST Emmy moment ever! If you missed it or heard the buzz about it, this is the unexpected proposal during an acceptance speech. Have some tissues ready!

To give a little context: Director, Glenn Weiss won for Outstanding Directing for A Variety Special, and is on staging giving his acceptance speech.

As I suspected this would happen: the ratings for the Emmys were down - they are the lowest ever. NBC Sunday Night Football's ratings went up this weekend. So NBC did right by not competing with itself or trying to have the Emmys on Sunday somehow. Still, the Emmys did have the highest ratings in that time slot for last night, against the other networks. It's just not as much as usual for the Emmys on a Sunday night.
