I just cancelled some ADRs:

Sanaa for 2 people. Dec. 2nd 5PM
Tusker House for 2 people. Dec. 3rd 10:40 AM.

Re: Packing... I leave in 27 days. The packing list was made months ago, and since then I've been progressively buying anything I needed (clothes, toiletries, etc), and piling it all on the guest bed. The suitcases have been pulled out of the closet. And I think that tonight, the actual organizing and packing shall commence! As a PP mentioned, I find it far less stressful to pack in small increments of a period over 2-3 weeks. Plus it helps to pass the time until DISNEY!!!

Yup. I totally understand. I also booked The Wave and cancelled a half an hour later. Now I'm thinking about Kona.

I *think* we have finally settled on 5 reservations. Sanaa, California Grill, BoG, Yak & Yeti and The Plaza.

But...there are still 32 days before we leave, plenty of time to change our minds!

We've changed ours so many times! I think we might finally be done. We have Minnie's Dine, Crystal Palace pre-park open, Sanaa lunch, BOG lunch and Tusker House breakfast! Whew!

Y&Y and Plaza are lunch and the other 3 are dinner. We are coming from the other side of the continent so I was worried about making breakfast reservations without knowing what time we will be starting our day.

Our plan is to try and keep DS on West coast time since he naturally gets up early and goes to bed early. If we keep him on PST, he might be able to stay up to watch the fireworks from the CG viewing area.

Well, my daughters team did it - New England Regional champs so her and I are headed back to WDW so she can compete in Nationals. Cannot believe we get to go back this soon, haha!

I'm coming here because therapy is expensive. My mom called me a selfish B because I'm going Disney with my bff and not taking our kids. Our DH's planned this trip for us, and it's a Christmas gift. It has left a bitter taste in my mouth all weekend.

Sounds like your mother is like mine. She believes all mothers should be martyrs. Mothers are allowed time away too. Go & enjoy your time away & leave the martyrdom to your mother.

Enjoy your trip. Clearly your DHs know how special this will be for the two of you. Friendship is a gift so enjoy your time together. Plus, I firmly believe spending time with BFFs helps make you a better Mom too because it gives you a chance to be someone other than "mom" - especially if your kids are little. (And I LOVE being "mom" - but I'm more than that too!)
