I actually booked it yesterday afternoon,(guess i got it on release day after all, just late in the day ) but it still showed available this afternoon when we were browsing to see if there was anything we liked better in our price range - are you traveling the same dates?

ETA: There are still water view and bus. class available for my dates as of right now. I don't know what room class your TA got you at CBR, but just as an FYI, we did CBR once with the pirate rooms, but probably won't repeat that if other options are available, as the walk to the food court and back was looong for tired little legs!

booked our trip November 28 to December 5th so no free dining for us, booked por royal rooms, will be a 1st staying at this resort and Im already second guessing myself as we have always stayed at cbr when staying at a moderate resort, and we love it there! Im a little worried I wont like por and be disappointed in this resort. plan on spending time at downtown Disney and like the idea of taking the boat instead of the bus there, we have strolled through por on a previous trip so have a bit of what its like. Do they strickly enforce the hot tub hours as at cbr we would be in the hottub at 6 am and never had a problem with using it at that time, in fact the cms always had it ready for us as they knew we were coming very early cleaning was all done! Someone please give me some great info on this resort and re assure me !

Just for kicks, I plugged my family's trip dates (my DH is arriving on 12/21, just haven't booked a room for him prior to our package check in) into the free dining special. It certainly would not save us money! The same resort is almost 5,000 more than the rate I got! We could stay at a moderate (instead of deluxe) for a mere 2,000 more. I think $2,000 more than pays for dining for 9 days! Just goes to show it is important to try out different discounts. There aren't a lot of choices for families of 5 with this deal. I will miss being on the dining plan, though.

I would definitely check. We got about 30% off Poly rack rate the 2nd week in December. But I know it's only certain resorts, so not sure if CBR is included? Worth an ask though!

Check their facebook page for holiday dates and resorts offered. Our discount was something like 36% off rack. Surprisingly, the tickets were at a discount, too. They can't be upgraded during our stay (we have upgraded at least once before to add a day), so we had to decide if we were okay with giving up spontaneity. They were cheaper than UT and include a bonus visit to either waterpark or Disney Quest, so we are giving it a try. It is worth noting, you can include dining plan, it just doesn't work well for our family (two folks with allergies... We like to order what we want versus have to stick with entree and dessert.)

Our TA got us our FD! YAY! No changes in resort, still staying at POP. We do have to do a split stay because we are actually arriving transferring to Disney from Universal on the 14th but no biggie to save that much. We are sticking with the quick service plan though and just paying OOP for table service since we probably are only going to do one TS dinner this time. A RO discount wouldn't have really done us much good with staying at POP - the savings just doesn't add up like it does at the other resorts.

DH and I were talking though and our 20 year anniversary is in 3 years and we are hoping to do a 4-5 day trip and stay deluxe for that so we will have to start saving for it soon!

I'm in that same boat with you, girl! We should have park hours in approximately 2 weeks or so. They've come out on or near the 13th of the month for the last 3 months. I'm so eager to get my final itinerary set in stone, and my ADR wishlist plotted out! I've already got everything penciled in, based on the Dec. 2014 and Nov. 2015 park hours. But I can't actually finalize anything until we get our real December hours! I can't wait!

We're getting the dining plan. (Sadly, no free dining for DVC peeps.) Can't wait!!! We honeymooned at the Poly back in 2007. Can't wait to go back and see the new updates.

Last year, only a handful of CP narrators were known when the dining packages opened up in July (maybe half?). They continue to add to the guest list for several months.
