~*~*~*~*The Official DECEMBER 2015 Thread*~*~*~*~

So, after a couple months of thinking this out, our conversation tonight... We're all booked! 2 rooms at the Poly, 11/29-12/5. Woohoo! So... now... we just have to wait... A YEAR. Lovely.

Guess I'll look around at when the MVMCP usually happens, maybe get a rough look at what days we'll be places. Will be planning for 10 people / 3 families so this will be our biggest trip yet.

Congratulations! I've got you on the Roll Call!

I'm kinda doing the same thing, looking at this year's schedule to kinda try to get an idea of what next year's might be like. I went into ridiculous detail about this in my PTR, haha. :rotfl:

Hi all :). My family is going to Disney in 2015 and we are very excited! We will be ther December 18th to the 23rd. We are staying at All Star Sports. :goodvibes

370 days to go!

Me too now:love:

Every time we visit Disney we always take our old Disney ponchos with us. We cart them across the Atlantic and back using extremely precious luggage allowance, particularly on the return journey and then we carry them everywhere we go for the next couple of weeks. Invariably, if we are caught in the rain it is at one of the very rare times that we do not have these ponchos with us and so we buy new ones which become the "must have" holiday accessory for the next couple of trips. I do not remember how much the ponchos cost but I am sure it is only about ten dollars for two and so carting these things half way round the world and then taking them everywhere we go really does not make that much sense. The trouble is, I have come to look upon having them with me as an insurance policy against rain and if I have them with me, then it is guaranteed not to rain. On that basis, anybody who has booked their holiday for the first 10 days of December next year can safely look forward to a glorious dry spell, unless of course I happen to risk not carry them for some reason. I'll try not to let anyone down.

It will soon be less than a year to go. Happy planing everybody

Bill

I like this logic. I will message you multiple times in the weeks and days leading up to your departure, to remind you to pack those ponchos and ensure and rain-free vacation for yourself... and for ME!!! :lmao:

Welcome!

No FB group so far that I've seen. Managing this thread is enough for me... If anybody wants to start up a December 2015 planning group on Facebook, feel free to post it here! I'll even add a link to first post. :)

Soon, I'll be able to tell my daughter that our trip is only "one Christmas" away. :)
I think we're going to be overloaded with glow sticks by the time we go, though. I keep finding them at target and walmart for "just" a buck or two. :)

Get creative, make a skirt out of them or something! :rotfl2:

My birthday is on Wednesday next week, and I'm only looking forward to it because it means I'll be past the 1-year mark until Disney! :goodvibes

Well, Hello friends.

DH and are in the planning to plan stage. :rotfl

I told DH today that next Christmas Santa should bring us tickets to DisneyWorld and he said that that sounds like a plan. So, here I am. I am excited to see how this will play out. Congrats to those who have hard core plans. I mine become more concrete as the months tick tock past.

Excellent! Please let us know how it shapes up! Fingers and toes crossed for you!!! :goodvibes

Thank You.

After Talking with my mom last night, she said she wants us to be there on Christmas day. I feel a little guilty about being there on Christmas day. I would like to visit with her and the mil before we take off. Once DH heard that he started looking up prices (and I they will change) for the resort checking in on the 23rd. My mom is insisting that Santa come early so we can be there on Christmas day….and she wants to have front row seats to see the kids faces when we the surprise is unveiled. lol.

When I took My wife a cup of tea in bed this morning she said this time next year we will be in.... Madrid!!

At that time we would have been up about six hours, driven fifty miles to the airport, traveled on our first aircraft of the day and be half way though a four hour wait for the next one. We then have about a seven hour flight across the pond (usually to Philadelphia) and then a further two or three hours wait till our final plane of the day. A couple of hours in the air to Orlando and then a short hop to paradise!

At this time next year (Florida time) we will be well on our way to at least at CBR, or maybe even at MK or depending on what is happening there, Epcot.

I have always really liked Philadelphia even though I have only ever seen the arrivals hall, immigration, one other terminal and a food hall. I always have my first American muffin of the holiday in the food hall there and sometimes a couple of doughnuts depending on the mood of the moment.

We are looking keenly at this years goings on and opening times everywhere so we can continue with our preparations for next year. If next year passes as quickly as 2014 has, then we will be at Disney in no time.

One more year to go:love:

Happy days

Bill

What's on everyones list of must do's?

I want to do Christmas party, but, it looks like from this years dates it will have ended when we get there. Check in date of the 23rd.

I have Osboune lights down on my list as a MUST DO.

I kind of want to walk World Showcase to see the different Santa's, DH made a face when I mentioned it. We walked ALL of WS one year after doing a few hours with kids in MK. My mom took the kids back to the room and we walked WS. It was KILLER. We both said never again. But, we got the kids their passport books done. Yay…..said no one.:rotfl:
