The OFFICIAL December 2014 - Christmas Magic

Go to dining reservations. Click Dining Event under Dining Experience. Put your date and party size in there and click Find a Table. If nothing shows up, refresh the screen. I was able to get a CP reservation at Chefs de France.

I got Chefs De France as well (12/12 3:30). I was doing fist bumps to myself when I got it.

I had to scroll down slowly or I'd have missed it. When the restaurants start to change fonts on the page, that's when you gotta start clicking. Happy hunting.

It seems to be a glitch that was working this morning. I would bet they were loading the times/locations in the system before the call lines opened and we weren't supposed to be able to see them. You could keep trying and see if they pop up again (they aren't for me, but it does show my reservation number under the no times available thing). Unless you are trying to get a Christmas Eve reservation, I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Thanks. I even tried using a different web browser and nothing.

I followed all the advice / directions too. And all I got was a screen telling me that Stitch ate my page.

Well, I hope we're able to get our CP package for 12/10 at Les Chefs too. Or maybe we used up all our Pixie Dust this year by landing BoG dinner ADRs!

I hope they're still loading the times, because there isn't any availability listed for any of the dates during my trip.

Otherwise...I'm questioning my decision to do Disney again. I want to go, but I want to do a lot of other things too, so I'm not sure where I want to spend the money.

Ultimately, I guess it will depend on where DH finds out they're sending us next March. If it's on the east coast, then I might be ok with skipping Disney this year in favor of something else. If it's on the west coast, or we stay where we are, then I think we'll stick with Disney.

Based on what happened last year, I would expect the official release date to be a week from today. From what I've read, most of these CP dining packages do not sell out so it's not a crisis situation like BOG dinner.

Thanks AmyKat, I was thinking it was a little early for the date release. I actually have an alarm set on my phone for July 7. I think I read this might be the release date for CP dining pkgs.

I totally agree. This isn't a crisis kind of thing. It was a glitch and a happy accident but there will be plenty left when they open the dates. I went the same time last year and saw packages for months after the release. The choice restaurants and times book up, but it isn't a frenzy like some of the other things.

I spoke with a really lovely lady in Disney Dining and she said that indeed there was a "glitch" in the system yesterday that allowed some people to book their CP reservations early. Disney personnel was told that it's not clear if those reservations actually made it into the system, even if it shows up on the MDE page. They were able to fix the glitch (same as what happened last year) in minutes, so that's probably why most of us aren't getting the opportunity to book our CP package.

Hi, Planning 11/30-12/5. Can't wait. 1st WDW trip ever and going solo. I have been trying to get an ADR for Fantasmic on Sunday the 30th and can't or any other time during my visit. Could they really be booked up? Could not get any time for BOG, which I understand or the Dessert Party.

So I am TIRED! But a happy tired. I normally get to my office at 7 am, but today I arrived at 5:30 am...luckily I work for an architectural woodworking company and the shop opens at 5 am!

I used the multiple tabs strategy for our ADR's 12/23 through 1/1 and got everything we wanted. :cool1:

I was NOT looking for BOG for dinner, we want to do that at lunch so I am still waiting on that FP to open up. I'm also waiting on Candlelight, those were not open this morning. TREX and House of Blues were not available, but they never are for 180 plus 10. I usually have more luck booking with them directly exactly 6 months out from the date I need.

I also booked the Illuminations Cruise and two Holiday sleigh rides for the 24th and the Wishes Dessert party for the 29th.

What size is your party and what restaurant do you want?

I did a quick search using Mama Melrose for 2 people and I don't see anything. That seemed a little odd to me so I checked December 11 (which is expected to have lower crowds than your week) and there was a table available. It might actually be booked during your trip. But, keep trying especially around the 45 day mark.

try calling t-rex directly. they don't release most of their reservations to disney.

Has anyone tried to get La Nouba tickets for late December? They are supposed to be bookable 6 months in advance, but for the last week the website hasn't gone past Dec. 18. We are leaving for vacation tomorrow and I wanted to get this all settled before then! Wondering if it's worth it to call or if they will have the same dates as online.

I did get our "other" reservations made this am though- Spa, Pirate Cruise, and Kids Club. So our "final" plans (haha, yeah right, lol!) are:

Fri Dec 19 - arrive 11pm at MCO, spend night at Hyatt in airport

Sat Dec 20 - late bfast Chef Mickeys (10:15 am), check into WL, early dinner at Olivia's (4pm), and hopefully La Nouba (6pm)

Sun Dec 21 - Magic Kingdom! 8am-1am (DH really wants to try to stay from open to close!) Lunch at Plaza (11am) and Dinner at Tony's (7pm)

Mon Dec 22 - Kennedy Space Center (still have APs from spring trip), tour there at 1pm. Then date night at Artists Point (7pm) while kids go to Cub's Den.

Tue Dec 23 - bfast at WCC (7:30am), kids doing Pirate Cruise at GF (9:30am). Quick lunch at GF after, then DD and I are off to the spa for manicures (1 pm) and afternoon tea at the Garden View Tea room (3:20pm) DH and DS will probably go to MK for a few hours. Then drive to Naples, Fl for Christmas with my family.

They keep telling me July 4th for Cirque show the last week of December.
