I'm pretty sure it was towards the end of July. Seems like forever to wait...

I got that 40% off 3 tmes too, but it's worthless to me for the most part. It doesn'tinclude the frist half of the dates I would like to go. So still hanging in. Last year I got a pin for free dining July 10 and it wasn't too much longer that it was released for Visa holders, then the public

True except for fact that I already got a AAA rate and from everything I've read, first part of my trip is excluded from 40% deal (some say because of Pop Warner). Since we have air all worked out, we will stick with dates and hope for FD!

I see. But if you get a free dining discount, you will have to lose the AAA discount

There are several threads already about Pop Warner. Pop Warner is the football and cheerleading championships which has been held at the Wide world of sports for several years. During they day they are competing so you don't really encounter them much. DHS will close one night early for a party just for them. The problems I hear about is at that resorts where they stay. Those resorts are the All Stars and one moderate. The moderate doesn't seem to stay the same. I think last year it was POFQ.

We are going during Pop Warner week and out TA said is shouldn't be a problem for us since we are staying at the Poly.

I got the Monster PIN, but it excludes all but 1 of my dates Dec 4-11...so I am in the same boat with many of you!

Waiting to see if free dining is an option, but we are also likely to see a AP discount coming up as well. I am staying at the Poly, so the extra cost of the AP will be more than off set by the room discount.

I am a TA and I have more than a few clients waiting for news on the AP discount! You have to crunch the numbers to be sure if it is the right move for you, but in general if you are doing a 4+ day Deluxe resort it is worth going the AP route. Only 1 adult in the room needs to have an AP to get the room discount, and you can add dining to the package as long as you are getting others in the room tickets! If historical data proves true and the AP discount is offered, be sure you call your TA and have them price out the scenario for you!

I haven't recived the MONSTER PIN but I am curious as to why Dec 4-11 is blacked out? Is it just because of Pop Warner or is something else big happening. I am going that week and I can handle Pop Warner kids but not sure I can handle HUGE crowds.

I guess the 4-11 is blacked out due to Pop Warner. Originally I wanted to go that week, but since it wasn't included in the pin I decided to go a week later. Airfare the weekend after Thanksgiving was way too much.

Have any of you gotten the 30% off of all rooms? val/mod/dlx?

We got that one about a month ago, and it's a pretty good deal. We haven't done anything with the dining plan yet -- probably going the QSDP route, but I think the free dining would actually save us a few more bucks.

We're paying $1170 right now, and to add the QSDP is another $400 or so. We only saved $235.80 on the room with the current PIN, so I would love if we were able to get in on the free QSDP.

I go every year and work the Pop Warner week. As someone said in previous post. The crowds are down during the day because of the cheer competitions and football games. On Weds. nite they close DHS for pop warner participants/families only. They use the values and POFQ last year. Free Dining was offered this time last year, but I did not think it would happen again and from ready postings I see this is again a blacked out date week.

Has anyone heard of anymore codes for extended free dining lately? I remember reading about it 1 or 2 a few weeks ago but not lately. Sure could use the discount.

I have gotten another discount though, and those dates are not blacked out, nor do I believe those dates are blacked out for those who have gotten the free dining pin.

We received 40% code for 12/12-12/18. We are already booked 12/11-12/17. Should we get 40% off room price the nights of the 12th -16th?
