I heard that Barry Manilow will be a guest on the Christmas special. I heard this during a Barry Manilow interview a week or so ago--that will make for some terrific sounding Christmas carols--don't ya' think?

OK...so I lied!!!! Because my mom can't go up and down stairs well, Ticketmaster let me exchange my tix from balcony seats to 4th row aisle floot seats!!!! I am SOOOOO excited!! I am even more excited that this is a surprise for my mom as she loves Clay and Christmas music and then the symphony playing with him on top of it! I can hardly contain myself!! WOO HOO!!


Does anyone know if Clay is going to be at Disney World again to perform for the Christmas Parade? I would assume they will get someone different but I thought I would ask!!

Wow! That's great! Congrat's on getting new tickets. I didn't think ticketmaster EVER exchanged tickets.

The Christmas Parade is always filmed the first Sat in December. I'd suggest checking his tour schedule to see if he has a concert that day.

I was on ticketmaster at 10:00am this morning and STILL couldn't get through to get tickets here in Raleigh. I'm so mad and depressed at the same time!!!

I heard bad news this weekend......

I heard Clay is considering going home and giving up the music business. Apparently he is sick of being in the spotlight and wants his privacy back. It stemmed from when we was a home a while back and he went to see some friends and there were people camped out on their lawns. Lets keep our fingers crossed!!!

So I was one of the very lucky people here in Raleigh to get tickets for the show here. I was able to get row T for the first night Dec 12th. Not great tickets but since both shows were sold out in less than 4 minutes I'll take them. Its a birthday present for my grandmother and my mom and sister are coming up from Charlotte. My mom is actually letting my sister be tardy for school on Monday so they can go with us Sunday night. Way to go mom. I don't remember her being that generaous when I was still in school.

Who was the "Bride" on Clay's arm at the AMA's? I was watching the "disaster" movie & was flipping. Only caught the end of Clay & Miss Bride handing out the award. He did look HOT!!

I also caught the last half of Fantasia's song. I didn't really care for it. Maybe it was just me, but it seemed like the applause was mearly "polite".

Off topic, but was Anna Nicole high? Something was up with that chick!

I didn't watch the AMAs last night--I felt there wasn't enough reward for sitting through many tedious hours of awards/speeches. I saw the replay of Anna Nicole's presentation--she was definitely tripping on something! I can't stand that blond, big ****ed, bimbo anyway--and that little performance should keep her off air for some time! When she speaks she always sounds high to me-- maybe that's because she usually is [high/stoned/drunk that is]?

Wish I could have seen our man Clay, but as I said--a couple of minutes before the camera isn't worth sitting through the other garbage and I can't stand Fantasia! Bad enough she ruined (I had another word in its place, but remembered it's a family place) an Aretha song on American Dreams last night!

Looking forward to LK tonight! Should be interesting. BTW, Clay mentioned in his TV Guide article that he "sometimes" wishes he could just leave the fame part behind and complained about the high price of it. He also said that he did really enjoy the performing though and that was enough to keep him at it for now (paraphrasing here. . .)--at least that's how I read the interview.

the bride with him was kathy griffith/griffin/whatever her last name is...there's been a big to do over her lately with claymates. most don't like her cuz she jokes about his sexuality. i don't pay any attention to it...but i think that's why they were presenting together. she was just over the top teasing him about being obsessed with him and that he was gonna marry her. it was kinda silly....i'm sure you can find the clip online...maybe at airplay?

i bought the tv guide...i know i've seen that interview somewhere online too...let me see if i can find it and i'll post it.

Clay was just on Larry King Live! Full half hour of talking and tons of clips, including a short one from the Christmas Special.
He also announced that he has been chosen to be the Unicef Ambassador of Education for all children.What a great honor for him!!

on Larry King...he is just so adorable..Clay..not Larry..lol!...and I am more and more impressed with him everytime I see him..he's just been named a Unicef Ambassador for Children's Education..he hasn't let fame/fortune go to his head...so refreshing!...can't wait for the cd and book release tomorrow..and it was shown tonite that Barry Manilow will be a special guest on Clay's Xmas tv special...my 2 favorite men together in one show on one nite!..doesn't get any better!

I thought the interview went very well. Although I was disappointed that Larry didn't the know the answers to most of his questions

Eeks! I need to see this now! I have a cute story about my sister, Clay and her NEW BOYFRIEND! (I'm excited)

So my sister is living in an apt. at college with 2 guys and a girl (parents are always so much easier with the baby... ). They've all been friends for 3 years now and things were great. Lately, my sister developed the BIGGEST crush on one of her guy roomies. After about 2 months of flirting and hanging out he asked her to be his girlfriend tonight! (Woo hoo!) BUT that's not the best part. The way he was going to do it was tomorrow morning he was going to drive to Wal-Mart when she was in the shower and buy the Clay CD, put it on her bed, and then say "I know I'm not Clay, but can I be your second choice?" HOW CUTE IS THAT?!?!?! He already knows that he'll be the 2nd love of her life. Thought my fellow Clay fans would enjoy that!!! Happy new CD day!

Boy, he sure looked GOOD last night. I LOVED the Christmas special clip. It's going to be a wonderful show!

I had to LMAO when Larry was telling Clay that he was more "successful" than Ruben. Clay was just so diplimatic!!

Was disapointed he wasn't on for the full hour. Another Diana book... I think we have enough! Let the lady RIP!

and yes, i, too, heard the collective sigh of relief of the claynation with the UNICEF announcement! i knew he wasn't quitting the industry...that whole thing has been so blown out of proportion it's not even funny...but was thrilled to hear about the UNICEF deal for him...how exciting!!

i am so happy to see a celebrity using their fame for a GOOD cause, not just a soapbox for publicity...
