I have been away from the boards. Been on a cruise and at WDW. While at Pleasure Island, "The Way" video was played on the big screen. We were just coming out of the Comedy Club and I heard Clay's voice singing and rushed to the stage area to see what was going on. My husband just shakes his head.

I am going to see Clay twice this summer. July 23rd @ Baltimore and Sept at the York Fair. I am so anxious for the concert. It will be my first time seeing him live.

One of my friends gave me 2 CD's you made of all Clay's songs from AI plus a couple of other songs of his. The only problem with the AI songs are they are so short.

I'll be away from the boards for a few days. I'm flying back to Florida for a conference in Tampa.

Thanks for the link, Lysorke . It was a great race on Sunday and I was supposed to be there. Our tickets fell through so we weren't able to attend . I can't believe I missed a chance to see Clay and Dale Earnhardt Jr. all in one day!

Missed out on tickets to Caesar's in Atlantic City, and I'm bummed. Anyone have any high roller connections???

I couldn't get tickets to Caesar's either. It was my only hope to see Clay this year. His tour with Kelly came nowhere near where I live, and Caesar's was the closest solor tour even though it's like 2 hours away. I tried calling but suposedly they were gone in like less than a minute. Maybe next year.

Did you see where airplay central is closing down?

35 days till I see Clay in Baltimore.

I was lucky enough to get tickets for both Baltimore and the York Fair. Baltimore is only 1 hour away.

OMC has been very busy lately doing big time events in both Atlanta and DC.

I also missed out on tickets to Clay's Atlantic City concert. Tickets through Ticketmaster sold out in 2 minutes, and now tickets on eBay are going for $600+. I hoping (not too optimistically) that additional tickets will be released at a later date.

I will be going to see Clay perfrom at Good Morning America on 7/2. I can't wait! Will anyone else be at that performance?

Wow! Big congrat's to Clay! How are the other ticket sales doing? Are they selling out quickly too?

Clay was on the Music in Films show last night (6/22). He looked great, as usual! What an honor, to comment on some of those great songs with the likes of Cher, Bette, Celion, etc.

He is also going to be on the PBS’ A CAPITOL FOURTH special.

I forgot all about the Music in Films show until it was nearly over. So missed Clay. I just am so pleased to see all the special events he has done in the past month.

i'm taping it at home! i've got the tv on here at work, but there's no telling whether or not i'll be able to watch from here! they did just talk to a few of the fans outside...and they showed the clip from jimmy kimmel earlier this week where clay was beating up on kimmel. it was pretty funny!

i meant to post something here...i'm apologizing to anyone who had originally linked to the clay pic i had in my signature (aiken for clay). imagestation was giving me grief over hotlinking to here and stuff so i deleted all of my clay pics from there. i've been hosting my pics on my own website though. i'll see if i can get the pic back for you guys...hopefully it's not a problem for you guys to link to it for your signatures...

Someone posted that they were going to the Clay GMA concert, I don't remember who. I'm pretty sure it wasn't on this thread & I can't find the post. She said she would be holding a sign that said "NJ teachers love Clay".

I saw her & the sign this am! They were previewing a clip on the hyped up crowd & she was front & center! Unless someone else had the exact same sign. She had a red shirt & dark blondish hair pulled back in a pony tail.

I want to tell her I saw her & I don't remember her name......

That would be Debi she is a moderator on the Tip Board, and I met her for the first time last weekend. We had a blast at Jellyrolls! Oh, and I watched Clay today, he was Awesome as usual!

i didn't get to see all of his set this morning as i was at work...but i will be watching tonight! from what i could hear, he sounded great!

although...i do have to say that i don't care much for "i will carry you" live. it just didn't sound right when he sang it today and when he sang it on jimmy kimmel. maybe i'll change my mind when i see him LIVE and IN PERSON in (see countdown timer!)
