morning

i was going through clay withdrawl this weekend! we spent then entire weekend packing up our apartment. we got quite a bit done, but there's still a lot to do. we officially close on monday, december 15!!

i went after some pics of clay from WDW..but the best one i found is the same one that lsyorke's got in her signature right now...no luck in finding out where he was staying though...

gots to run for now...have some house related stuff to take care of!!

Ooooh! A thread about my new favorite singer! How can I resist? Hi all! I'm jumping in late on the Clay bandwagon. Don't hurt me! LOL I only watched AI2 sporadically after the huge disappointment of the ending of the first one. (yeah, yeah, Kelly's got a beautiful voice, but Justin had her beat by a mile for stage presence!!!) I always thought Clay should win, but I just wasn't that into it. Then I watched the AI Christmas special. OMG, is he fabulous or what???? In looking online for more info about him, and what kind of music he normally sings, I found the info about the Bubel/Aiken Foundation. That clinched it for me. I have an autistic son, and learning of Clay's dedication to developmentally disabled children and adults just melted my heart. So now I am ever so impatiently waiting for my package from Amazon with the AI Christmas CD (one can NEVER have too many Christmas CDs!!!) and Clays album. Where is that UPS man????? I'm gonna run out and tackle him!!!! I NEED A CLAY FIX!!! LOL

Clay looks pretty darn hot in those glasses!! Clay's CD has been helping me get through studying for finals. I don't think it's left my CD player for about a week now. Finals are dumb. I wish I was in Disney with Clay right now. He better feel better soon!! Hope you all have great Mondays!

welcome to our happy little home here myjulybabes! better late than never! i'm a late clay fan as well. i didn't watch AI at all...well, except for the audition process. i've only recently discovered clay myself...i find him absolutely adorable, much to the chagrin of my hubby! and he's got an amazing voice...

Isyorke, I REALLY like your picture of Clay. Is this part of the WDW Christmas special to be show on Christmas Day? It looks like it was taken right under the the entrance to Magic Kingdom. Is this correct?

I'm in a Clay Aiken video. I really am. We were in LA on vacation in October and he was shooting his "Invisible" video at Hollywood & Highland. We didn't know what the video was for a the time, had not heard the song yet. Pause the video at 2:24 and there is a shot of people up on the balcony. We're there, I promise!

The UPS man scared the living daylights out of me. I was sitting here peacefully at my computer while my ds was napping, and suddenly out of nowhere, someone is pounding on my door loud enough to wake the dead and screaming "UPS!!!" at the top of their lungs. I about hit the ceiling. Scared me half to death. What happened to just ringin the doorbell?? The only reason I can forgive the jerk is that he brought my Clay fix.

I'm listening to the Christmas one first. I'm in a cruddy mood and Christmas music is so cheery! The First Noel.....*melting into a big puddle of goo* Has that song EVER sounded that good before? I think not! *sigh* He's so dreamy.......... I love the cute geeky type.

What's this about Clay being on a Disney Christmas special??? Help a new fan out! What? When? What channel???? I probably would have watched anyway, hey, it's Disney-related. But now, I must tape it!

Absolutely correct. It was in front of the train station!! He was taping the Disney Christmas Parade Special airing on December 25. Alot of fans down there, the funniest story is someone telling Chip to move out of the way so she could see Clay!! Clay heard it and was hysterical!

Billboard Awards tonight on Fox 8:00pm. Clay is performing!! Probably Invisible from the clips of rehearsal that are out.
He's a shoe in for the highest selling single award!!!

FYI Sales of Measure of a Man topped the 1.5 million mark yesterday!!!

I'm glad to see the Clay thread on the first page again! I've been SO busy with stupid finals this week. Clay's been helping me get through them by serenading me over and over and over... I think I've listened to this CD about 100 times over the past week.
