I thought it was great that Clay won the Viewer's Choice Award yesterday and I had a strong feeling that it was going to be him. I can't believe that Kid Rock beat him for Pop/Rock Male Entertainer (I thought it was between Justin Timberlake and Clay.)

I was shocked that he won!! Congratulations Clay!! Maybe the radio stations will *finally* start playing your stuff!! Paula A. looked like she was going to "cry" (in that proud mama kind of way).

He & Rub sounded great last night, too!

Darn, I forgot to watch the AMA's last night! I am glad to hear that Clay won for Viewer's Choice, though . And I do like Kid Rock but am surprised to hear he won for Male Entertainer.

By the way, Becki, you must have been a very happy football fan yesterday. You were the first person I thought of when I saw the score for the Broncos/Chargers. I was happy too since my Raiders finally broke their losing streak and WON yesterday .

Hooray! Clay's the best! My sister's absolutely in love with him. I tell people he's going to be my brother-in-law. So happy he won!! Do you guys have his CD? It's great. I love the entire thing. I'm kinda bummed out because I missed him perform though.... maybe next time!

I watched it live until Ruben and Clay had sung..then taped the rest..will have to fast forward thru it now to see him get his deserved award..GO CLAY!

i'm a new fan of clay's. ut i am so glad i discovered him! i didn't watch the american idol show at all this year...i'm kicking myself now though. i wished i would have! he has got such an amazing voice!!! it gives me the chills...

i am OBSESSED with clay. (just ask the swan/dolphin cheerleaders!!) i had been voting for him to win the AMA fan's choice last night. i think i voted a few times...lol...

i did read somewhere that he won by a margin of 2 MILLION votes! don't know if that's really true or not...but how cool is that! he has got some of the best fan following...

he is scheduled to be on dave letterman on the 24th...and i think the american idol holiday show is on the 26th...and he'll be in the macy's parade on the 27th...

and cross your fingers for him at the billboard awards next month!!

I posted this on the TVG poll, but thought it more appropriate here.

We were so happy to see Clay receive the "fan's choice" award on the AMAs last night. Did anyone else see that little between Clay and Kim Locke? I almost didn't recognize her and was a bit surprised the two were together--cute couple though! Wonder if it's anything or if they are just "good friends?

Ruben & Clay's duet was terrific last night as was Clay's performance! I about fell over when half the audience rose to their feet in a standing O after the duet! Tough crowd and a strong reaction.

I just can't see Clay perform often enough. . .unfortunately, we rarely hear his songs on the radio--go figure! It does seem the Top 40 station is playing him more often now though!

I am so thrilled that Clay won for Viewer's Choice! He truly is a class act, and it's so nice to see someone with morals and class win! I LOVE his CD!

are you referring to the blonde that was with him that he kissed after he won? her name is amber (according to another board i'm on) and she's a friend from charlotte, nc that recently moved to LA...not sure if there's a romantic thing there between them or not. everyone's adament about being "just friends"...

guess we'll see if she's his escort for the billboard awards next month!

Missed the cute blonde, I just saw Kim Locke--wouldn't have recognized her but she stood up while Clay was on stage and the powers that be stuck one of those annoying labels across her neck that said her name.

I'll have to pay closer attention when the kids watch the show--I taped it for them since they went to bed (as we did) during the presentation. I just caught a quick glimpse (knowing I had it on tape) of the smooch, then Kim Locke--must have been someone else he kissed before he made his way to the stage. . .I'll look closer.

I know that Clay did say on GMA that he didn't have a "special" someone and he's never been "in love"--maybe things have changed a bit. . .or, she's just a good friend (the blonde, I mean).

I thought Clay said on the Jimmy Kimmel(sp?) show last week that he was rooming w/ Kim Locke in LA. Saying that they were trying to get settled out there and they decided to room together to make it easier. Anyone else see that interview?

yes...kim and clay are currently roommates...i think that they said it was just easier on them both to live together. but still say that they are very good friends.


i have really got to find something better to do with my time...i know entirely too much about clay aiken...lol
