I'm sorry, Kim. I know what you mean though - we were trying on the phone at the same time that my friends were in line trying to get my tickets (cause my number would've been the third-to-last person in line). I was on hold before 10:00, and into the system exactly at 10:00. They were giving me 200 level at that point...I was shocked.

I hope that something pops up for you. Like I said, I don't know where the radio station tickets are going to be, but I (obviously) didn't pay for them, so if my friends don't want them and the seats aren't better than the ones my family are using, I can give you a good deal. No service charges or anything!!

Clay is scheduled to be doing an interview on KTLA tomorrow morning (Thursday, October 27th) during the morning show. From what I've seen, the show runs from 7:00-9:00 am, but supposedly Clay's interview is scheduled for 8:40 am.

Supposedly. So you can see him, and we can't, and neener neener on us.


PS - For all of you anxiously waiting like I am....there's still no "news". It's possible that he'll announce something tomorrow, although I bet he'll talk more about UNICEF and the tour than give us details on anything else. But you never know. I do know, however, that he hasn't blogged or announced anything to the fan club. When that happens, you'll know it.

Wouldn't you know it, KTLA is a Southern California channel that we don't get up here in Northern California. Now if you hear anything about KTVU let me know.

Also looking for any contest that may be giving away tickets to the Oakland show.

I'll let you know if I hear anything re: Oakland. If it's a price issue, I'd keep an eye open on eBay - lots of times, Claymates overbuy and you can get a good deal at the "last minute" for people trying to get rid of them.

By the way - Debi, was it you who was considering going down to Florida for the December show? If yes, are you still thinking about it?

My friend in Florida ended up with an extra pair in Row O. I told her I'd ask around to see if anyone here needed them. They're for the Clearwater concert, but I can't remember if they're the first show or the second. If you're interested (or anyone else is here), I'll get more details.


The woman is extremely trustworthy, and I can guarantee there would be no reason to worry about whether or not it was legit. She's very sweet, and is actually the person who got me my autographed Learning to Sing last Christmas.

Hi Kylene!

We decided to stay in WDW for the full week, and skip Clay's concert (perish the thought!!). I feel like such a bad Clay fan, but considering that we see Clay more often than we go to WDW, we decided to stay in WDW for the week. Besides, we'll be seeing Clay in Camden, so we will be seeing him this JNT!

It was at last year's JNT that I got to shake his hand at the busses. Hopefully my luck will continue for this year (I'm still hoping for the Meet and Greet!).

Ok, here's the update:

The KTLA interview was apparently not earth shattering. He looked good (there's some screencaps somewhere, but those Clay fan boards are *hoohoo* a little nutty about linking and reposting and whatnot, so I'm afraid they'd get the Claymate police if I did), but he didn't share much new, and no surprise or word on the album.

Apparently he spoke about UNICEF and the new tour, including a tidbit that he's cast one of his high school teachers and a little boy from Raleigh as actors in the show. He also said that some of the songs will be new classics (I know, I know - an oxymoron, but you know what I mean...as in, not ones he's sung before), and that many of them have made him a bit teary eyed.

The link to download the interview is on KTLA's site, but I have dial up and just don't have patience or time to wait for it to load. I'm sure he was snarky, and I'm sure he was pretty, but I just don't have three days to wait for a ten minute interview.

SHOWS START TONIGHT!! I missed him on the Insider due to Trick-Or-Treat duties in the Magic Kingdom. Did anyone happen to catch it? I guess we'll get full reports on the happenings after the Vancouver show tonight...it's all so exciting!


By the way...um, I have a crush on Chicken Little. Skinny nerd with funny hair....yeah, the resemblance was totally lost on me until I was buying a stuffed Chicken Little in Downtown Disney yesterday and the guy said to me, "he's kinda nerdy, isn't he? I mean, wouldn't you say he reminds you of...."

No, he didn't say Clay, but, to tell you the truth, that's where I thought he was going.

So apparently that's the deal. Even my cartoon crushes are nerds.

The Insider was pretty cool! Clay talked about his Christmas show, and how it's going to be different than last year. It tells a story, and Clay acts as the 'musical soundtrack' to the show. He's cast an old teacher of his in the show, as well as a little boy named Gregory, whom he will be tutoring on the road (he has to take advantage of his teacher's credentials somehow ).

He also gave us a little heads up. As part of the set, there is a door in which characters come in and out. If you notice, there is a house number on that door. The house number is Clay's American Idol audition number. How cool!

Kylene, have you heard if Jacob, Angela and Quiana will be joining Clay on tour this time?

Thanks for the update, Debi. I had read Clay's blog about the little boy, but he didn't give too much else away!!

Well, I guess I'm a little late with the news since the tour started last night (I would've posted then, but I'm having terrible problems with my eyes and I'm straining to spend any time at the computer), but yes, Quiana, Angela and Jacob will be on the tour. Actually, I THINK Jacob is there...I know the girls are. And I only knew that for sure because I met people up in Boston who had gotten tickets and meet 'n greet passes from the "girls", and they had told them that they'd be back for Christmas as well.

Anyway, I just finished catching up on the reports from Vancouver, and I'm so excited for this show. I don't think it'll be as much fun as Jukebox, but it'll certainly be magical, and he looks amazing and happy. I guess it's sorta like comparing Magic Kingdom to Epcot - you love both parks equally and have fun at both, but, really, they're not the same experience.

(Sorry - I have a Disney hangover, so everything gets a WDW analogy these days. )

And you can laugh all you want about my Chicken Little crush, but really - can you honestly say you don't see how this happened??

Thanks for the update, Kylene. I'm looking forward to seeing, Angela, Quiana and (hopefully) Jacob on tour with Clay this Christmas. Along the same lines, do you know where I can order Jacob's CD? Clay mentioned that there's a link on the OFC website, but the link posted says nothing about a CD. Argh!
