he sang on the lighting of the Rockerfeller Plaza Tree...so cute in that hat and coat..and in fine singing form!..Happy 26'th Birthday Clay!

Oh I totally agree! He was such a little "doll" last night in his hat & scarf! I also loved when everyone sang HB to him! He looked touched!

Question for all of you not in the NYC area. Did you see *2* hours of the show? It aired for 2 hours here. For many years, the local NBC station has showed this tree lighting. It's been 1/2 hour at 7:30. Now, it appears to be a network show. From 7-8, est, we saw the same performers sing different songs. Then at 8, they rerolled the opening credits, which makes me think the first hour was local. Clay was awsome in the first hour as well!

Clay can continue to keep his 1st week best selling "crown" as Fantasia didn't come anywhere near his 1st week sales of MOM. She didn't come near Rub or Kelly either.

Ruben's sales of his 2nd cd aren't great. 98,000 for the first week. I think its time for him to decide where he wants to go in this crazy career.

Yes, I agree. I didn't think he was selling well. I don't think I ever saw him in the top 50 on Amazon. I know it's a holiday CD & they don't normally sell as well as regular CD's. I really wonder if he has the physical stamana to keep going in this crazy business.....

Rub's kinda like Justin Guarini when he only sold 6 CDs or something like that. ;) But here's my real question... what was the deal with Clay's hair last night? It was looking kinda weird in the back under the hat!! But hey, still love him!!!

Here on the West Coast we only saw an hour, 8 - 9. And only one song per singer. I was hoping for more from Clay.

we only saw an hour here...i was so bummed when he started singing winter wonderland...don't get me wrong, i mean, i'm thrilled just to hear him sing anything. but i was hoping he'd do something to showcase his voice a little more. i wasn't impressed with his outfit, but he's still adorable!

how on earth can anyone stomach jessica simpson any more? i fully expected her to start stripping before her song was over! and what the heck was this "santa clOWS" crap she was singing? dh and i just sat there and laughed through her whole performance...does she not realize just how silly she looks with some of those facial expressions? i really used to like her...when her 1st 2 cd's were released...but i just can't stomach her anymore...

scarlett873 you must be psychic because everything you said about jessica simpson i was thinking last night lol. the only thing i will add was that i was so glad that she at least was covered up last night not dressed tacky like she usually is. even my 6 year old was laughing at her facial expressions when she sings. loved clay's singing as always. not crazy about the outfit he had on especially the hat. i'm looking forward to his christmas special.

Kim, Val, and whomever else is tri-state:

Apparently Ticketmaster has been releasing held over seats for the MSG show, so if you can go, I'd try and see what they're bringing up. I have tickets already (they're pretty far back, but I'll more than make up for it the night after), but I thought maybe you guys would want to check it out!!

PS - Someone should warn Clay before the CT show that the front row does NOT keep her hands to herself!! puckerup:

Thanks, I will check it out. I'm on the mailing list & usually (but not always) get emails when they release seats. Sometimes they are REALLY good seats too! Ones that they've held for VIP's.

I checked with a couple of ticket scalpers, errhh, brokers. Seats for MSG are going for OVER $500 each. :earseek: Little to rich for my blood!

Wwwhhheewwww! All the way back on page 17! :earseek:

Week 2 and Clay's book is #4 on the NYT's bestseller list for Non-fiction! WTG, Clay!

Don't forget, Clay's special is this WEDNESDAY!

I was "flipping" and something caught my eye on VH1. They were doing a countdown of the 20 "worse" songs of 2004. Who do you think landed in 11th place?! Clay with Invisable! I had to laugh at how they (though they said their names, I have no idea who these people were) were "ragging" on Clay. They were "icked" that it was a "stalker" song. Then one said something to the effect as to how can Clay ever be considered a stalker with his "Opie" face. They did a little cartoon fly with Clays face flying around. Another one said, "Invisable, Clay's anything BUT! You see him everywhere!" They weren't really "nasty", just "comical". Oh well, at least you know "people" are paying attention to Clay!

oh my heavens...i just wached some video from some of the recent shows...those of you who are going are in for a real treat!! especially those of you who have FRONT ROW SEATS...pay attention when he sings what are you doing new year's eve...;)

i guess they are really crracking down on the cameras and cell phones. my friend couldn't call me from the baltimore show. :(

let's hope that miss fantasmic up there recovers after her show! ;)

U2 is #1 with 46,655

Kelly is #9 with 15,263

Clay is #11 with 13,222

Ruben is not on the top 50. (He was 48 when the first results were posted.)

Congrats to Kelly & Clay, keep it up!!

Doesn't sound/look good for Fantasia & Ruben...... Not good at all.....

{PS, I listened to some of Diana's CD on Amazon. It's pretty good! Really reminds me of Hillary Duff.)
