Hubby has reserved us a hotel room nashville for the friday night before we fly out. We live about an hour and 45 minutes from Nashville and he doesn't wanna get up and drive there the morning of our flight. Our flight leaves at 7:40 so we would have to leave our house no later than 3:30am so he would rather already be in Nashville. Plus we found a great price on a room close to the airport that has park and fly included in the price and their first shuttle for the airport leaves at 5:05 so that would be prefect for us. I make the drive to Nashville several time a year (due to my youngest son being a patient at Vandy) so I wouldn't have minded the drive that morning but like I said, hubby would rather sleep a couple extra hours.

We have about the same drive to the airport. It stinks! However, like you, I don't mind that much, so dd and I will be on the road dark & early for our 6 am flight. My plan is to get about 4 hours of sleep, shower, and be on the road by 2:30. I'll try to grab a nap on the plane.

I love the luggage tags that came in the box too. They are all different designs. The last time we went, all the luggage tags were the same design.

I decided to check the flight prices for our flights again today. Our return flight, which we paid $102.00 for is now $261.00
But we could leave an hour earlier to go to Disney and save $20.00 each. We won't, but could.

Aw, we didn't get the luggage tags. So glad some are though.

Check the whole box. Ours were tucked into the end and I might have missed them if I hadn’t heard they were in there. The straps were inside the magic band holder.

We have gone back and forth a million times between Le Cellier, Yachtsman, Shula's and Flying Fish but cant seem to pin one down.

I've heard that Shula's has the best steak.

nyone else anxiously awaiting news on AP preview of Galaxy's Edge? We arrive on 8/16 and are there through the 31st so fingers crossed that if CM previews end on the 16th that AP previews may start the following day? I hate not knowing when/if we will get in with previews because - I mean - my plans! LOL!

Our trip dates are Aug 24th to 31st and I have been stalking the annual passholder preview discussion thread. Now that I've seen the dates for the CM previews I am worried that we will arrive too late to get into the AP preview.

We got our MagicBands yesterday. I had ordered premium bands for the two of us but the order glitched after I hit the purchase button. I got my premium band but my DH's was a sold color. Luckily, he was able to get his premium band as his annual passholder band.

We haven't gotten our Magical Express luggage tags yet but I did buy the first of many gift cards for the trip. We plan to pay off the room and most of the food with discounted Disney giftcards from Target. That 5% adds up.

I know we have a lot of MK at the beginning, but we have annual passes, so we can zip over to other parks if we need a break, or head to Disney Springs, or maybe do the monorail ride (the loop around the lake!). I keep annoying the wife by asking Alexa how many seconds until our vacation. We just got below the 2 million mark!

Also, "supper"? Are you from New England like me?? !!

My DD took my phone once and asked Siri what 1 billion to the 10th power was. Dont do it unless you have 10 minutes to spare!

Our water socks came in, DDs sandals came in, DDs MNSSHP costume came in, but no magic bands

I ordered 2 Ts for myself online at Disney store. Those came in too but the fabric is ick. Hopefully with a wash and some fabric softener, it will be better. I hate buying clothes online. Even some brand name stuff I know I like, sell their brand license to manufacturers, so you never know what youre going to get.

Awesome Disney movies on Freeform today. Im recording them all for us to watch while waiting for our trip Most excited about Moana. Ive never seen it. (Also Bohemian Rhapsody is free on demand until 7/20. I could watch that movie a million times)

And, with typing this post, Im 3 minutes closer to my vacation

There's a lot of debate about this going on here. Wording somewhere on Disney's website about the preview, not sure where, seems like if you don't have an active AP then you won't get the preview email for Galaxy's Edge. However there's a large group awaiting this email link with a promise to post the link to that thread to the first page. If that link will work for people without an active AP is still up for debate as well. Check out the thread and try to read maybe the last few pages. Any questions you have will most likely have been asked. Also someone posted the CM preview info and that's on pg. 164.

I did just find that thread today and was reading it - looks like no one knows for sure what Disney will do but I guess I won't get my hopes up. :-(
