Well if anyone missed out of FOP FPs might wanna check the days AK hours were extended. There are some available on the 6th in the evening now (I think 8:20 was the earliest time available) and they were all gone. So they released more with the hour extensions.

Food and Wine, I don't think is a bad thing. I will reserve judgement on the Star Wars madness. As much as I would love to see it, I am kind of glad I am missing it. You have been added to the Roll Call. Enjoy your trip!

Heading to Magic Kingdom for the morning, as our flight is in the afternoon.

I know we have a lot of MK at the beginning, but we have annual passes, so we can zip over to other parks if we need a break, or head to Disney Springs, or maybe do the monorail ride (the loop around the lake!). I keep annoying the wife by asking Alexa how many seconds until our vacation. We just got below the 2 million mark!

Anyone else anxiously awaiting news on AP preview of Galaxy's Edge? We arrive on 8/16 and are there through the 31st so fingers crossed that if CM previews end on the 16th that AP previews may start the following day? I hate not knowing when/if we will get in with previews because - I mean - my plans! LOL!
My big concern about the previews too is that we haven't activated our AP yet - we bought them and have the vouchers - but I'm worried because they aren't activated yet that we will not receive the email for signing up for the preview.

I wonder what it's like to book a trip to Disney and not obsess over all the details. I mean, I know there are people on the Dis who don't, but I also know those people still make it a point to be knowledgeable about how things work. How can people spend this much money on a trip without doing the research to make it the best trip possible?

Ugh! That's so frustration. Recently I ordered something that went from Idaho to Washington state and sat there for a few days and then went back to Idaho. I'm in Alabama. There was no reason for it to go to Washington. I've also had something go from the sorting office in Birmingham Alabama to Killen Alabama (which is less than 15 minutes from my town), the went back to Birmingham before coming back to my town's post office. That added on a couple of days before I received it. It's so annoying.

ugh! thats crazy. good news is after a long wait to speak to usps customer service because the twitter account was of no help the agent explained the container was being scanned and not the actual package and it is probably still in NJ. well he was right. this morning it arrived at my local post office. so getting them a day late.

Thanks! I'm not too hopeful any more that we will get in - I assumed (and you know what it means when you assume) that we had AP linked in MDE, FP booked, ADR books, hotel stays booked, that this would just be something else I could book before our AP is activated. So frustrating that it looks like that will not be something given to voucher holders. Time will tell - but I'm losing hope the more I research it.

Surprisingly, even though we are there many of the days you are, Aug 10th is the only day we are in the same park. LOL at the 2 million second mark!

There's a lot of debate about this going on here. Wording somewhere on Disney's website about the preview, not sure where, seems like if you don't have an active AP then you won't get the preview email for Galaxy's Edge. However there's a large group awaiting this email link with a promise to post the link to that thread to the first page. If that link will work for people without an active AP is still up for debate as well. Check out the thread and try to read maybe the last few pages. Any questions you have will most likely have been asked. Also someone posted the CM preview info and that's on pg. 164.

Seems even though our trips overlap (we'll be there the 3rd-10th) we don;t have any parks planned the same day.
