We are officially on vacation, my dh is on his way home. Tomorrow is my spa day and the boys' haircuts. Just over 36 hours to go! I'm losing it. So, so beyond excited!

Yes, one of my favorites and DH's favorite. Our only consolation is we'll be back in November Just really hoping Splash has no issues while we're there, it was way too cold for us to ride in January and I missed it!

WE left yesterday..car blew up on I-95 200 miles into our trip. TIP TO THOSE DRIVING. The mechanic said the highway roads are 130-150 degrees and cars need a rest God is good, we were back on the road in 90 minutes with a rental van. We were 4 miles from the top auto repair in the town, were able to get there by moving at 40 miles an hour, let me say there are still wonderful people in this world. Guess we will be looking for another car when we get back.

But we are not letting this get us down, we are leaving the hotel at 11 and are 3 hours away. Can't wait to start the magic and put the first day behind us. I will report back tonight to let you know how it went regarding our room, and our first afternoon at Epcot

This is something I fear happening to us. We have a trip planned for November that we are driving down for.

For all the research and planning I've done, I can't believe I didn't know that sharing Memory Maker was a thing! I've been on the fence about it because my little ones arent very cooperative when it comes to pictures, but if I can share it would be worth it! Our dates are 8/26-9/4; if anyone has room in a share or is interested in starting one, please let me know! I still can't believe I didn't know about this...I hope I'm not too late to the party!

So sorry to hear about the car trouble! Two years ago, I broke down 5 hours into my trip, broken steering knuckle. laid the car up for a day and a half, and cost me a thousand dollars. Made it to Florida a day and a half late, then two days later the fuel pump gave up at the gas station by Wal Mart, cost me another thousand dollars to get it fixed, and missed supper at T-Rex. That same miserable trip, I got a gout flare up, we all got a cold, our refrigerator died while we were away, as did our dog.

I now rent a car for the trip hahaha.

Sure I can laugh about it. We all survived, car made it back home, and despite the problems, we had a good time.

Oh that's crazy, and knowing my personality would be hard not to let it ruin the whole trip. So glad despite the 'hiccup' you guys are back on track. Our van is not even a year old yet, it better make it out there considering we took the 2006 car last trip and it survived.

For all the planners, you'll love this one. Wednesday I decided to start organizing paperwork (my oldest is from a previous relationship so I always need agreements signed when bringing her across the border). Hubby is in the background teasing me that it will take 15minutes to type out the sheets that I can sit down and don't HAVE to do this NOW. Well I get her stuff typed out, which includes hubby and my passport numbers. Randomly flip through the kids passports because its been a few years and oh how cute they were. Oh what is that, wait a minute, when my youngest got his passport in 2013..he was under 3...they only issue three year passports to little ones. That expiry date...January 2016! Lol man I flew around town and had everything filled out/signed and dropped off by Thursday morning with 28 days until we leave. Lets hope mail keeps on track. Even typing I am cringing at the idea of "what if".
