What are your days looking like? I am having a hard time choosing what I want to do.

I don't think we will share this one- each of us will need our own lol. Thanks for the heads up Disneylover99. Looks so good that I wish I could hit my 'like' button way more than once!!!

BTW did you August Disers notice the Extra Magic Mornings have been extended through August and into September? I am looking to drop a PPO reservation at BOG to try it. We never seem to be able to be at Disney for special events / parties, so thought this might be a fun (but expensive) experience. Anyone else looking to try this event? It's up in MDE, but I don't think they are taking reservations yet. Decisions, decisions...

Oh no, a Churro Cupcake? My DD21 has a Churro obsession!!!!!

Yes, I noticed the EMM's in August, and booked for the 16th. It isn't cheap, but by the time you take into account the cost of having breakfast in the park, it isn't a terrible deal. I am very much looking forward to it!

Fess up. Who has started to pack? My DH has refused to get the suitcase down for me, so it looks like I will get it myself.

Who is doing the under 50 days dance? I am, 48 days out now.

I have our vouchers in hand through the base here. Whoop whoop

I have started packing stuff like shampoo, conditioner, soap etc. We are renting a house, and driving, so we are just taking full size bottles.

Not quite at the 50 day mark, but we leave home in 52 days, so we are getting pretty close!

We started making our FP+ reservations last Tuesday (one day at a time) and have had very little trouble getting everything we want. Frozen we had to take a little later in the day than we were looking for, but not a big difference. SDMT we had no trouble getting. I am hoping that the relative ease of getting FP+ (and the ease we had making ADR's as well) is an indication that crowd levels might be a little lower than what we have seen the past couple of years.

I have days planned but I keep second guessing myself. haha.. I have a problem relaxing while I am at Disney, knowing I could be in one of the parks makes it hard for me to not over plan haha... It is just Myself and Hubby so He is along for the ride and as long as the lines are not long he will be happy.

We are going to do BOG breaky our first day so I can get into the park before opening, then have a late lunch planned at Sanaa. After that I am hoping to get fast passes for a late safari and Everest and possibly the Jungle book show. Not sure if a fast pass will be needed for the show or not so many "if's"

DH and I are going for a weekend trip. I am TOTALLY stressing because I am *used* to going for a week or 2.

I got everything I wanted including FEA and Soarin. It was a lot less stressful than I thought it would be

We will be 60 days out this Friday! It's coming up really fast for us. As far has packing, we have one suitcase where I have been tossing the things we don't want to forget to pack, like our SotMK cards, extra pin backs, small packages of wipes, sun block, etc...

We got our DME yellow tags in the mail today, and the flights are all correct. It really is a great reminder how close we are. =)

I just did my online checkin for the Poly. Tomorrow, I will make fp's and do online check in for CS. I have to get super organized tonight, so I'll have time to make my fp's at 7am. I hope that one day I plan a trip where my 60 day window opens up on a weekend.

I'm relatively new to DIS having started actively using the site in April for a last minute trip I took with my youngest DD for a 4 night stay at POFQ. Found DIS super helpful with planning for ADR and FP for that trip.

Returning August 7-11 staying at the POFQ w/ DH, and my two older DDs (9 and 7 yrs old) for their 1st trip to WDW

Only took me a little over 2 months to realize DIS has a subforum for August 2016

Was able to easily secure BBB, ADR's, and our FPs (ie FEA, 7DMT, etc) I know it'll be ridiculously hot, but we are coming from Texas and are used to hot summers (just not used to the humidity), and very excited!

Thanks! My biggest problem is trying to figure out which days to make fp's for with 14 days and 10 day tickets.
Plus I'm trying to talk my family into Epcot on New Years Eve.
I can almost taste those AP's I'm itching to upgrade to.

Some advice needed....Have a wonderful trip planned for mid August. Had to have some surgery last month and just got bills for what insurance did not cover. Thousands of dollars we need to come up with. Got a payment plan, but thinking it would be best to give up our trip. I have a hard time thinking of the money for this vacation when we have bills to pay. Anyway, does anyone know if the deposit money is returnable? We are at 58 days to vacation today. Thanks for any information.

Yes. Your deposit money is totally refundable til 30 days out for a package (I think it's 30 days, it used to be 45 days out) and five days out for a room only. Regardless. You're totally fine. Sorry you have to cancel though.

No real packing yet for me - but we have two drawers in our guest room that stores all of our WDW gear - I went through those and had DD5 try on her shirts to see what fits and what doesn't - I did order and get a new set of shirts for us to all wear that are super cute from Etsy - Today is my last day of school so then it will be ON!

You sound like me! Have another week of school here and then I will do some full on planning. Our FP date is Friday when I have administration day so hoping the staff meeting is after 9:00 so I can make my FPs when the window opens at 8:30 here. (We're ahead of EST)

I agree with Mickeyminniemom. I usually try to book most popular rides first, but honestly, everything that we wanted was available and for times we wanted. Soarin', FEA, 7DMT, TSM ... lots of times available. We are a party of 4 and I had no issue getting 4 FP for popular rides. Hoping you get everything you want! Bonus for me was no MDE issues I found ADR's much more difficult than FP+ this trip.

We had the same experience - got 10 days of FP done in 30 minutes - did go back to tweak things later and make everything better and had no issues moving some things around

I agree! It was great! I just miss the midnight thing because at 7am I had DD5 hanging on my arm as I was trying to click around! I had to send her to another room - normally she sleeps through the FP chaos!

I have heard this from others, but I had to wait until 7am eastern for ours, not sure why it varies on different days

Going to get jammies for my dh and start packing for real tonight. My dh fixed the portable DVD player for the ride down so I can't be too mad at him for not telling me he needed new ones when we were at the store last week. It's starting to feel really real!

We weren't able to make our fast pass selections until exactly 7AM Eastern time (that would be 6, 5, 4 if you are in other time zones in the USA)

We have our first bag, with all of the bathroom supplies, packed and ready to go with the exception of one item, which we have yet to purchase. We intend to start packing up DW's clothing this week, and we are at 47 days until we leave for our trip. I'm pretty sure I've never been this organized this far ahead of our departure!
