We're at 47 days today. And no ....... not ready to start taking suitcases out yet.

We are at 43 days!!! I have a few things packed away in a suitcase but mostly just to hide them from the kids! It's getting close.

I got a new suitcase yesterday and will start packing this weekend. We got actual tickets from our base for Disney and vouchers for UNI.

I am scared we wont have anything good for FP when the time comes for us to make them. Good news I guess, is no kids so we don't wont have to do a lot of Character hunting. WE WILL be meeting Mickey. I can't leave without it.

You sound like me! Have another week of school here and then I will do some full on planning. Our FP date is Friday when I have administration day so hoping the staff meeting is after 9:00 so I can make my FPs when the window opens at 8:30 here. (We're ahead of EST)

I found a Disney outlet store kind of near us yesterday in Destin. Woohoo. I picked up some new shirts. It felt good just being in a Disney store . Weird I know. but, it made my day.

Same here. I haven't been to the Disney store in years, but I went last week. I found 50% off t-shirts, so I bought my husband a Father's Day gift.

I haven't started to pack yet but have started grabbing things for the trip when shopping. I also have my order ready for garden grocer and next Monday is Fast pass day.

I have been stressing out these. My hubby just shakes his head when he sees my planning binder haha.

WooHoo for fast Pass day! I think we have like 17 days or something like that before we can make ours. NERVOUS NELLIE about it too.

Did my CR online check in today (60 days out ). Also did FP+ today - got everything thing that we wanted (and the times that we wanted).
Four more days till BC online check in and eight more days till PORS online check in. So much fun to do Fastpasses today!
With regards to packing, I've started a 'Disney corner' in the bedroom - just little things that I pick up that I know I'm going to need for Disney trip.
Once school ends (last day June 29th -students) and PA Day (June 30th -teachers) then I will really get in the Disney planning groove. Woo hoo! Exciting couple of weeks for us August Disers - good luck with fastpass selections. Hope your selections go as smoothly as mine did today!

Did you start with your last park days for booking fast passes? I'm worried about getting seven mine train and frozen.

Our FP+ window opened one week ago, and I was able to get a Frozen FP toward the middle of our 10-day trip. Some were available even earlier. I've never had issues getting Mine Train even on our first day -- this time was no exception.

I tend to start with the harder to get ones, working from the furthest day out back, just in case. Then I go back and fill in the rest.

I agree with Mickeyminniemom. I usually try to book most popular rides first, but honestly, everything that we wanted was available and for times we wanted. Soarin', FEA, 7DMT, TSM ... lots of times available. We are a party of 4 and I had no issue getting 4 FP for popular rides. Hoping you get everything you want! Bonus for me was no MDE issues I found ADR's much more difficult than FP+ this trip.

I have a planning binder too. DH and kids tease me about it before the trip... but when we are in Disney, they tell me over and over how happy they are that we have a plan

Oh yes, I love my planning binders. I have one for each of the time we have gone. It kind of turns into a memory book at the end.
