Using autoslash I found a SUV with SIXT for $235. This is for 9day. I will need to return the car by 6pm on Sunday. This means getting to the airport about an hour before I normally would. I think this would be OK. I also called Budget and talked to them about changing my SFB reservation to MCO. They were able to do it. With the extra 2 days the rate is $275.

Wow! I'm super jealous. Are you sure it was alamo? All my rates are over $260 and there isn't even an option for a Premium.

It's Alamo. However, I used our AA Advantage coupon for 35.00 rather than the BJ's coupon. I did use the BJ's discount code. You can join AA Advantage for free if you want to. Since you will be going after us, maybe there will be better deals next week!

How do you check your rates? I already have an Alamo reservation, are you going into Modify reservatation and just processing it again?

I'm sure you can modify, but I usually rebook and cancel.

I check on a daily basis. If I find something better than what I have, I first book that. Then i go back and cancel the previous one. I just got it down now to 109.00 with a coupon for DH birthday through the Alamo Insiders Club.

Our2girls&Disney-Our dates are 4/26-30th. I am using a code from BJ's wholesale and a birthday code from Alamo insiders. If you go on their web site and click on the travel section it brings up a tab for rental cars. Once you do that, you can choose from Alamo, Enterprise, Avis, and one more.

Hmm it must have to do with the dates, because my dates have increase dramatically this week. Last week, I have huge drop and then increase a couple days later. It seems to increase more and more each day. My dates are 4/21-4/29. I must have already hit rock bottom. I can live with our rate so I'm good, I was just curious if something better was out there. I would keep on checking up till the time you leave. I also checked on the weekend and the rates were up, then low and behold wham yesterday I hit the jackpot. Now I am also watching rates for a co-worker for the end of May and his rates are also up.

Try using id code 299851 and add what ever coupon you have. You should be able to come in well under $500 on most vehicles.

I just used this code & got $45 off my rental. Very happy! But it said, as usual, that you may be required to show a coupon with this code. What is it for/from? Has anyone had to show a coupon?

I have been checking Alamo every day to see if I can get a lower rate for my 4/21 - 4/29 rental at PIE. (Clearwater).

When I use the code AD2359FDF it shows this:

The Discount Coupon looks to me like it's being taken off and then added back in. Is this happening with anyone else? I do meet the criteria of the coupon.

I added the 25.00 BJs coupon as well for the discount and it worked!

Up until now I have a midsize car with National for 209.27 but was worried about using the KLM code. Seemed strange. I happily will pay 4.00 for less worries, a larger car, and use of the kiosk.

I enjoy using Alamo so I can use a kiosk and hit the road.
