Thought I would start one as I don't see one.

I am going for 12 days and need a Mini-Van and a Standard Car. My dates are 04/08 - 04/20

I found the standard car for just over $300 with Alamo using the walmart code but the Mini-Van at all agencies is $700-$1000.

Anyone know of good codes for this time for a mini-van.

Thanks.

I have a Minivan Booked with Alamo for $674, my dates are 4/1-4/11. However, I need to find a great price for dates 3/30-4/12 since I want to extend my vacation. I'm thinking of trying Priceline closer to the date.

I'm looking for 4/9-4/19. I have an "intermediate" booked for $334, but I'd like a van/SUV. Two adults, two kids, and luggage will be a squeeze.

I will also subscribe.

I need 8 days from Tampa International Airport to Orlando International Airport.

I have done a few searches and found a great rate of 168.52/week for a compact with Dollar. It is considered a "city special" and I was excited about the deal. What I don't like is the 50.00 one way fee that brings the grand total up to 317.69! double! :scared1:

So I will continue to watch. We will take anything but economy. I may consider priceline.

Let me know how you make out... we also need a one-way from Orlando to Fort Meyers or Tampa. I found a good deal like you, and then the $150 on-way charge killed it!

I am looking for Mar 30 - April 11, all the rates I have found are over $1000. Compact or mid-size.

Use corporate code 1660221168 with Thrifty and a mid size is $529.84 including taxes and free additional driver. It belongs to property management company for building I work in but no ID is required. I have used it several times. Orlando Magic Card Corporate Code 004m001010 is pretty good to but right now total is $566.00. Sometimes it is less.

Keep checking around because I'm sure rates will drop as you get closer to dates leaving.

Really? I thought the major agencies didn't have drop off charges within Florida. I've heard some cases where you couldn't use a coupon on a one-way, but I've done a few MCO-TPA or TPA-MCO rentals without any extra charge. (Of course, the agencies are hurting too, so maybe they're cracking down on this)

I used alamo with the walmart ID# 430710 20% off and free additional driver. I got the code from Mousesavers.com. They do recommend going to a kiosk to check out.

I also used westjet Coupon ID:AF3626JDY. My rental is $212 including taxes and fees for a compact with an additional driver for 10 days.

Tonight I got a great rate using AAA.com. I was able to get my tpa to mco for a week and a day in april without a one way drop off fee.

I read through the long list and I noticed something- total cost for national intermediate was 298, I scrolled and found total cost for national full size 298.....

So I booked a luxury for 199.99 a week/298 total! w taxes and fees!! :cool1: I received a confirmation email from aaa. I think I have to wait 24 hours until it is in nationals system. I will double confirm it.

Joining in. Looking for a minivan or a SUV for 4/16 to 4/24. At about 434 with dollar right now for a minivan.

Rates are high now, so still watching for April 24-May 7 (13 days).

I found BCD Code X474200 with Budget over on Flyertalk that people are using. Looks like it comes from Travelocity. You can also use Coupon MUGZ009 for $30.00 off and total with discount reflected upon checkout for minivan is $323.55.

Thanks, but those did not work for my dates. Over 800 for a minivan and 500 for a SUV

Thanks!! I was putting a letter in wrong. (could not read my own handwriting) I am not a member of Costco. Do I need to have the coupon in hand?

How is it renting from Budget? I have never used them before, but this is the best price out there for us right now by far!

Thanks again!!

It's one of those ecoupons so you don't need any paper copy. Just signup for Fastbreak with Budget so you just go directly to car lot for pickup and all you need to do is show driver's licence on way out. They never ask for Costco membership based I my previous rentals. Alamo never ask for it either.
