The *official and early* April 2009-Anyone?

April 25-May2, POR for us! It's oour first ever Disney trip, so we're all really jazzed!

I've got my room-onlies booked, and bought my plane tickets already (scared they'll skyrocket by then)....

Basically the same dates for us, and for the same reasons (except the AP -- ours expired years ago!). It will be very crowded, but better weather than the summer and no missed days of school for our DD! Made the hotel reservations, too early to even look up some of the flights from here!

Were are you staying? I just made our ressie today and I booked airfare
I would have never booked Airfare this early but Airtran had a flight for 56$ one way per person and I couldn't pass it up. DD does have to miss 2 days because the flights were over 300 one way but her teacher will understand.

We will be there Apr. 25 thru May 2! We are staying at AKL. Our first time at a deluxe. Yay!!

We're going April 10-18!!! It will be super busy due to Easter and Spring Break. Being a teacher means going during busier times.

I asked this on another board and it may have been the wrong place! But anyway, here in Tx. most schools have Spring Break around March 10th. That's a friend's bday and she was always on spring break.Anyway, for Easter our public school friends are not getting the whole week-just like Good Friday off--depending on the school system.

Question is, we have 3 birthdays and our 15th anniv. between April and May, so the next week after Easter (anywhere from the 13th on) should it be packed? and is value season back on around the 20th? We've been in Mid-end of May and the crowds were picking up by then-but what do ya'll think?

In RI & CT school vacation week starts the 10TH Good Friday and is all the following week. I think some other schools in New England will have the week after but what I have been reading the parks are packed but the weather is great


Also where is a good place to eat for Easter? Any suggestions?

We haven't decided if were staying on or off property yet. I wonder with the crowds if were going to need/use EMH. The wk of Easter the PM hours didn't start till after midnight I don't know if me and the kids could stay awake that long. We have AP but I don't think there will be any type of room discount the wk of Easter.

I live in the midwest and alot of schools start there spring brk Good friday which is the 10th through the 19th. If you were going to go in april and had some flexability I would go between the 20th and on. IMHO

Actually if we could go anytime I would love to go at the end of September or early October but DH is school teacher and DD is starting kindergarten this year so we are stuck going with everyone else.

I bought tickets from boston to orlando on fathers day. Delta had a big sale, 209 roundtrip per person.

April 3 - 6 for DH and myself. A very short trip but we are going to watch DD march with her colorguard and marching band through MK. I believe we are staying at POP but we are not 100% sure yet.

It's official. We will be staying at the POFQ.

I hope we have better weather in April. It has just not stopped raining in New England. We were just up in ME & NH and now I am back home and it is still raining.

At least I have an excuse to be on the Boards since we can't do much else.

HI Everyone,

We just booked as well. Staying at the Poly April 22-29. We ended up going Wed-Wed since the crowd levels are supposed to be VERY high through Tuesday 4/21 (that Easter crowd still...).

I love the planning part - it makes waiting so much fun !!
