I think the studios have always slept 4, not 5. I know the one I was in pre-refurb at Kidani was a 4 person sleeper (no bed chair).

Yes, but people were hoping a pull down bed under the TV would be added in the refurb. Just reporting that’s not the case.

In my view this is exactly the refurbishment this resort needed. I am happy with what I'm seeing so far.

We have a 4-night club-level stay booked for October 2026 and I am keeping my fingers crossed that we will get a refurbished room by then. I don't know where the club-level rooms will fall on the refurb schedule at Jambo, but I hope they do them sooner versus later. Honestly, I am just thrilled that I managed to snag a multi-night stay in a club-level studio for 2 years in a row. I'm still stunned...

Same, I'm genuinely surprised that they managed to keep a lot of the character of Animal Kingdom. No complaints here. I'm glad they got rid of those hideous doors and couches lol

I am also! I do wonder whether the armoire is the same one, or whether it's a new, identical to what was there before. Whichever, the one in the picture appears to be in good shape, that's all that matters.

They probably just touched up the finish where necessary (although they were made to look used and worn and in my view were in good shape already, except things like the legs of the chairs and tables that take a lot of abuse). To be frank, if they removed them they would have been replaced with composite catalog furniture as we see in PIT and CFV so keeping the old unique furniture is far preferable.

Thank you! I'm so excited we have a stay booked in summer! AKV is my favorite resort and I was a bit scared of the refurb. This looks like the update that was needed while keeping the character. @ReaperMouse
