I got an extra day off work so now we're heading down a day early! DGD6 and I will be in the car on our way to Anaheim before first light on Thursday the 10th! Only 2 more workdays and 2 more sleeps!

Way to go.... ! We are all so ready to go see Mickey and The Gang.

Man - I've spent the past hour or so scrolling through the last 40 pages of the food thread ... I want to eat all of it! Or at least now I know that I need to bring stretchy dresses and my eatin' pants!

What is everyone else packing for their park days?

Love it! I am wearing shorts one day, a skirt another and a dress the last day. I wear shorts under the skirt and dress because some attractions are difficult to get out of and because never fails, my DS4 will flip up my skirt. LOL

I have several Maxi dresses I am taking and praying for no wardrobe malfunctions lol I am fat and don't wear shorts so I figured that would be the next coolest thing.

I've worn a dress before to the parks and it was wonderful! So comfortable! I think you will be ok with maxi dresses. My dress is knee length and my skirt is in between my knees and my ankles length. Matterhorn and rockets were a bit tricky to get in and out of! I also wear bike shorts to prevent chafing especially because it will be warm/hot.

Yeah, I'll definitely be wearing dresses this trip.

My next big decision is what bag to take - since it's just me, I'll probably end up bringing at minimum my external charger for my iPhone (it will keep me occupied in line, etc.) or even my iPad to read, etc. and pass the time during longer waits and at meals by myself.

We are very ready for our trip! Daughter did not win a national title at her pageant over the weekend, but did get a high sprain in her ankle from talent. The stage was not friendly for dancers, especially ballet en pointe! Hopefully she will make it okay in the parks, but we her doctor said we may have to get a wheelchair if her pain is too bad. I really hope we don't have to resort to that, though! Printed boarding passes and airport transfer paperwork this morning. Most things are packed, but still trying to decide which bag to carry in the parks. We head to Dallas this afternoon and fly out at 6:00 am tomorrow. Will be in California by 10:00!

Sorry to hear about your daughter; hope she does ok during your trip.

It's so great hearing from the people already at the parks! I get so excited when I read their updates!!

One more day of work tomorrow then heading to DTD on Thursday followed by 2 days at DCA and 3 days at DL.

Just packed the kids' costumes, Glow with the Show ears, glow sticks, and other light-uppy stuff. I have a feeling that it will be too hot for some of what they want to bring (long polyester princess dresses, sleeveless or not, aren't going to be that comfortable for my daughter in 80 or 90 degrees, and neither is my son's Buzz Lightyear costume), but since we're driving, there's definitely room for me to just pack a bunch of shorts and T-shirts for them to wear instead if they change their minds.

Just received our paperwork from AAA today. So excited! The tickets are so cute. Grandson is a huge Buzz and Woody fan so he will be really excited!!

What a neat feeling... I know I will turn into a kid again when I go through the gates and enter the parks...

We're here!! One DD threw up on the plane, but everything else has been excellent!! Limo, amazing customer service at the hotel, in the park by 3 and saw parade (including Frozen pre-parade), 8 rides, fireworks. Up at 3am, so time for bed!!!! Been a great experience so far!

Day 4 update: Crowds about the same as Monday, higher than weekend but not crazy Mid 80's today and needed a light sweater tonight. Caught one of the last Laughing Stock performances and it was fun and sad at the same time! New FL interactive starts tomorrow it goes on 11-6 daily. Have the cast member referance guide for it and it sounds like it could be fun! Had breakfast at PI saw 8 characters and they were all fabulous! Did alot of PP+ pics today and got several magic shots. Meeting some CM friends at Trader Sams in a bit so have to run!

Only 4 days left till we leave! I have 2 shifts at work and then I am off for the next 2 weeks! YAY!!! I am excited! I just finished 5 nights in a row and was off tonight so I got a few more things packed. We are mostly packed except for some essentials such as toothbrushes, hairbrushes, deodorant, etc. I have Friday and Saturday off so my DD and I are going to get manis and pedis Friday and then I will finish up our packing. We leave at 0600 on Sunday!

If your like me, I am running full force at work preparing for my departure. My DD is getting her Hair, Nails & Eyebrows done today. ME?? just a little trim and I am set...

Traveling on business for the next 3 weeks. I will have 1 day...1 DAY to get ready for our trip! DW is taking care of the packing, but it's still going to be a blitz come July 25! Here's to all the end-of-July DISers...let's end July with a bang!
