Hey all! Had something on my mind this morning and wanted to run it past you guys.

Now that the month-specific threads are all mostly rolling, I honestly don't think this thread is needed anymore. I started it when we were all planning sooo far in advance, and now those who are going in January have only 6 months before their trips (and a good month-specific group as well).

I'm also not sure how many more names I'm going to be able to add to the lists - I'm guessing there is some kind of "length-limit" to posts, and I don't have any clue what that is. I'm fairly certain I won't be able to continue adding names for the next 12+ months, KWIM?

I guess what I'm looking for is opinions. What are your thoughts? I've loved getting to know all of you, chatting with you, etc. But I'd hate for those posts to get so long and have people join here and not be able to add them to the monthly lists. I'm also unsure about my own 2014 trip at this point in time - May, 2015 is still being thrown around in discussions.

I greatly appriciate everything you have done on this thread, however, I will be moving over to the month specific threads for my trips.

I wish everyone nothing but happy planning and great trips and hope we run into each other on other threads.

I would say that this thread and the January 2014 are equally active. I love the chatter with fellow-minded Disney lovers, especially when the rest of my family doesn't get 'it'.

PLEASE (yes, I'm begging) read my PTR, it's very quiet over there and I love to discuss my plans with people! Especially those who have been more than I have (only twice).

This is what I was going to say. You dont have to update the list, but let us keep talking. It was so sad last year when the Dec 2012 thread ended. This way we can help each other plan and then hear about others trips while we are in PDD.

I love this thread to just talk my DH isn't as crazy about Disney so it is nice to talk to everyone who loves Disney like me!

Hi Everyone. I thought I would post. I read alot but don't post so Hi! Me and DW are added to the dates we are going Sep 14 we are DVC so although we can't book till 11 / 7 month window depending on resort we want to do SSR and AKV spilt stay ( 7 nights each ) . We love both!

We are off in 52 days to SSR and 4 night cruise on the Dream and AKV for 2 nights at the end for my birthday. I am obsessed with Disney and Florida and live for my next trip! Am disabled and home bound so imagine all that pent up energy when I get there, rent a scooter, freedom no stopping me!

Got seaworld tickets this time wanted to see the new Antarctica that's just opened. Just love Penguins don't you?

I would enjoy both threads! Now if I could only find April 2014! So excited for this trip because we will be taking my older daughter and son in law, my 2 grand babies and my 2 young daughters! We will have a mix and fun for sure!

As 1 of the ones with the longest to wait, I'd like to see this stay up. The Dec thread has about 20 participants right now, but it's still fairly quiet.

But as someone who has started/maintained a few ongoing threads, I know that it can be time consuming and would understand if you'd like to lock it up.

I couldn't get it to work... Tried 3 or 4 different ways/methods... Tried the old site and was unable to link my room reservation... After 20 or so minutes I just did it day by day... Not a huge deal or something that upset me tremendously however they need to get MDE at 100% functionality....

This make me very glad we still have the old site as our "official" site. I found a work around to give me access to MDE but for things like ADRs I think I'll stick to the tried and (sometimes) true.

I like this thread more than the month specific on for January...

On to my Exciting and Not So Exciting news of the day:

Exciting:
ADRs are tomorrow!!!!!!!!!!!!
I got BoG dinner back! My mom told me to book it and she'd pay for it as my birthday present. I have a question though, my birthday is Dec 21 and the trip is end of January. Do I till get to have a birthday button to wear to BoG? Is there some sort of rule there? Will the button police come arrest me? This trip is technically my birthday present and it's the closest I'll ever get to being in WDW on my actual birthday.

Not So Exciting:
I got a new princess design that I'm dying to put on a bathing suit and sweatshirt for DD but my embroidery machine is acting like a bratty 2 year old. I ruined 2 t-shirts and a bathing suit before I gave up on it last night. I'm going to fight with it tonight, hopefully I can fix it without having to take it in for service.
I finally got DD's Sofia the First dress for our CRT breakfast and I'm.....less than impressed. It's not a poufy as I thought it would be but that might get better when she's wearing it. The bodice feels cheap though and mine had tons of loose threads everywhere. I tidied it up but when I drop $45 on a dress for a 3 year old I expect them to have at least cut the threads, you know? The tiara is so pretty though and better quality than I expected so that makes up for it a bit.

You should absolutely get a button!!! I plan to wear one, but my trip is just a week before my birthday. You are celebrating your birthday so it counts!!

Our granddaughter's birthday is New Years eve and we are planning our Disney trip the end of January - her birthday is part of the trip so my daughter is not planning a big birthday party at home this year. My daughter called to make a few ADR's yesterday and the CM told her that "of course" she can have a birthday button and she included that it was our GD birthday along with the ADR's - so we are hoping for some and some of the "gray stuff" at BOG!
