Congrats to all those who have finished their long runs already this weekend! I'm planning to do my 11 tomorrow afternoon. I'm nervous- not for the distance but the temperature. It's turned cold up here in western pa and tomorrow's temps are to be around 48/feels like 44. Normally of be pumped to run in that but I've never run in that for 2+ hours. Any advice? I'm a little nervous about ending up sick right before the race. Should I just hit the treadmill to be on the safe side? I've been trying to get a lot of rest just to try to stay healthy as I seem to get sick fairly easily.
That's just no bueno from top to bottom.
SUPER!
...at least once.
doesn't help. (we work with special needs kids and despite flu shots and obsessive and constant hand washing we just can't fight off everything!
. In my dream, I was running with DH and feeling really good...like I was at mile 3 or so. I looked at DH and asked him how far we'd gone and he said, "It looks like we're coming up on mile 10!" I freaked out, thinking we'd somehow gotten off track and took a short cut! Then, it started raining...and I HATE getting my feet wet...and then we had to cross a stream in our running shoes!! Thank God it was only a dream
.
!! I remembered taking out the rolled change ($50 worth) and 5 $20's when I went to the bank to deposit it, but I couldn't remember what I did with the other $100. I was already running late for church so I couldn't keep up the search. During church, I was digging through my purse, thinking maybe I'd grabbed it all when I went to the bank...nope. Ugh!! I couldn't believe that I'd lost $100! When I got back home, I went back to the little cash box. I looked in the tray, and there, under the index cards that I use to record the balance, was my FOLDED stack of $100
. The alcohol budget is intact
. I hope it doesn't effect my trip too much.
