The Official 2007 Candlelight Processional Thread

December 4 - Les Chefs de France for my Mom and me. Last year we went when Mario Lopez narrated. He's cute, but I really wanted to see Brian Dennehey. It still gave me chills, it's so fantastic.

Hoping to change our 12/17 lunch at San Angel to a CP Pkg and seeing the 5:00 show.

DH and I plan to go to the second show November 28th (John O'Hurley)
and dine at Mitsukoshi Teppanyaki. :santa:

Hi all:

How difficult will it be to secure seating so we can attend the 6:45PM show?

Which show time is usually the most popular?

Trying for Coral Reef at 4:30PM...

Thanks,

Mark

Hubby and myself plan on doing the 8:15 show and hoping to eat at Tutto Italia on dec 17.

I'm a little confused about the people who want to convert existing ADRs and the people who say you can't.

Do they have seating reserved for the CP package? I could not get an early dinner at Le Cellier on december 17th, but would like to do the middle show. Will we maybe still be able to get a package seating for 4:30?

We've never been at Christmas before and I'm such a nervous wreck!

Some people made ADRs already, for whatever reason, however they cannot convert those ADRs into CP package ADRs. They will have to cancel that ADR and then book the CP package ADR.

What they do for the shows is they have two lines; one for standby guest and one for package guests. The package guests are seated first. Then, if they still have seats, they open up the remaining seats to the standby line guests.

So, both lines are still first come first served however, the package guests are guaranteed a seat and are seated first.

Is this like the Fantasmic dinner where you receive a voucher stating you bought the dinner plan?

Thanks! If I get a CP package at a good time I'll be cancelling a Le Cellier ADR for 12/17. That's enough time for someone else to be able to get that slot. I made it when I did all our other ADRs, wasn't sure about the package yet.

Last year they gave out stickers instead of tags with pins on them. As for the dining part, you can't convert an ADR to a CP reservation. We always go the the 6:45pm show and they only offer a dining reservation within a certain timeframe for each show. The past 2 years at Le Cellier, our dinner times were 4pm and then 4:15pm.

We are going to see CP on Christmas Day with Lt. Dan at 6:45 if available. We are going to Le Cellier for dinner.

:thumbsup2

We are looking at 12/29, Le Cellier for the 6:45 show with Marlee Matlin.

Has anyone seen Neil Patrick Harris or Dennis Franz do CP before? I am wondering how they were? I am definetely going to see Phylicia Rashad.I even bought the CP CD with her as the narrator and I am really looking forward to seeing her in person. If you could choose any of the narrators that are scheduled who would you choose? I would love to see Gary Sinise and Edward James Olmos. Maybe I'll get lucky and James Caviezel will be the TBD narrator for December14-16. I was going to see him in 2005 and his dates got switched. Everyone make sure you get lots of sleep this weekend because we need to be up bright and early Monday morning. Especially all of us that want Le Cellier.I am setting my alarm for 5:30 am so I can get ready for work before I call at 6am my time when WDW dining opens.Good luck I hope everyone gets the CP package they want!!!!! :)

I have not seen those, but we did see John O'Hurley last year and he was awesome! He is doing the show agin this year right after Thanksgiving. Its not close enough for us to Christmas, otherwise I'd go see him again in a heartbeat.

Do they sell the recordings of the show? If so, I think I've found my MIL's stocking stuffer!!!!!!!!!!!!

We'll be eating at Germany and we usually take the first seating. Looks like we do the Thursday December 6th.
Yes they do sell a CD of the show. We bought it on our trip two years ago. My daughters love to listen to it during the holiday season.

First time for CP.....going November 29th at 6:45, hoping for LeCellier for dinner. Our speaker is TBA. Does anyone know when they announce these speakers? Is it really necessary to get up at the break of dawn to call in for the CP package?
Thank you for all your help.
:yay:
