Considering the pin code dates for FD start October 19, I'm guessing there won't be RO dates prior to that either. But I really hope I'm wrong! We arrive the 17th.

No problem! I am in a FB group for October DISers & it seems that most people had planned on going during that extra week that the pin offers FD for! I hope that more people get a PIN. Ever since we came back from our first trip we always get them but they always have my boyfriend's name attached!

I don't think so. Someone said they go out in waves & I know you can also call & ask if you have one attached to your name!

There weren't ANY rooms available for my dates, 10/1 - 10/10 at POFQ to begin with. However, there was a river view avaiable from 9/30 - 10/10. I had to call and change the dates. Then I had to call back & was able to change my check-in date to 10/1.

It seems that once your trip is booked they can just delete the first day off. A similar thing happened today because I noticed that a cheaper garden view room was available, saving us $200, but only for 9/29 - 10/10. So after multiple calls of changing dates I finally got it down to 10/1 - 10/10.

I really think it's silly that I couldn't just book 10/1 - 10/10!

I didn't get my PIN in the mail or email. I actually called on the day FD was released to the public and couldn't get a room at CBR, so on a whim asked if I had a pin attached to my name and they said I did. I have since checked, and rechecked, and triple checked my email, my backup email, and my DH's email and never received anything that way. The only thing we ever get from Disney Destinations was a notice saying I had left stuff in my cart and something yesterday saying they heard I was interested and offered me a free planning DVD.

bah. after waiting 45 min on phone, I got an agent who confirmed that there wasn't any "pin"(she called it something different, saying they are trying to get away from the pin terminology) anyway she said only first round has gone out, and hang on and remain hopeful. Sigh. half way through me talking my phone crapped out and died. ARGH.

Me too. The cast member I spoke with said they roll out every two weeks so keep checking.

This may be a silly question, but if your package is already booked, why would they send you a pin? Wouldn't they be more likely to send you one if they've seen you sign in but yet mot booked anything?

The PIN going out is for guest who have already stayed before. Maybe they think u will book again or a longer stay or upgrade dining.....as we did

SO if this is the first trip booked, then no chance of a PIN? (Wasn't really counting on it, just wondering)
