OK I've searched for this, so don't skewer me!

But has anyone on this board had Disney Dining for F&W? If they offer the upgrade for free, obviously we'll take it. But I was wondering if the Dining Plan is that useful since you only get 1 snack/day to use at the booths.

Just wondering if a Room discount would be a better option for us than dining (if it's offered)

I did last year. The food at the festival booths usually aren't a good use of snack credits. We did use them for the steak in Canada. But most of the portions are small. I'd rather use my snacks on rice crispy bars from the Karamel Kitchen in Germany!

Still patiently waiting for a RO discount for the middle/end of October. I'll be there October 16-26 for my wedding and Disneymoon and a PIN/discount would really help.

What day is your wedding? Is it through DFTW? I'm hoping for 28th (it's a special day for us). Only planning Escape but if more folks show up, will obviously have to do a super quick upgrade and plan for Wishes. Hopefully, won't be an issue on a Tuesday.

My wedding day is the 17th and it is through DFTW! I'm doing an Escape as well since we're doing just immediate family. A Tuesday shouldn't be a problem for ya if ya have to upgrade! I'd be more worried about a Friday/Saturday/Sunday.

I'm getting kinda worried about our reservations. A lot of standard rooms have been booked at moderates and some deluxes. I'm worried that most things will be booked before a discount could come out. :/ Does anyone have any experiences with this?

I've noticed this as well. Very curious. I know in October 5-9 over 10K+ individuals will swarm to Epcot resorts for the Gartner symposium. BC will be undergoing renovations at this point rumor has it, so overflow is usually at the mods and other deluxes. I have seen so much unavailable for October this week that it does give me pause. I wondered about any discount as well because of this very reason.

I'm going Oct 21-27. I'm hoping for Wilderness as my first choice. I still could afford woods view with the discount, but that gets booked, I'd probably move to AKL. Last choice is POR, but that's getting booked fast too. Hoping for a discount relatively soon!!!

October discounts don't come out until mid/end of July so it could be awhile; last year FD was released August 1. Your dates have historically been covered by Fall FD and there was a RO last year but I can't recall the details.

Do I book the party online or over the phone? And I think October 21st is a party date, I think, right?

Maybe a stupid question... when you buy tickets to the party, do you have to buy tickets for Magic Kingdom that day as well?? I saw some people posting about just doing the party, and saving money... I thought you had to buy both.

Also, I am trying not to reserve anything until the free dining comes out (fingers crossed) should I buy my tickets next week for MNSSHP or am I probably ok to wait? I hadn't planned on doing anything with it yet, but now I am nervous that it will be sold out!

You can wait until your dates are finalized. You only need regular admission if you plan to enter MK prior to 4pm on your party day. You MNSSHP ticket will get you in at 4pm, even though the party doesn't start until 7pm.

I think we will get a ticket that day anyway... since I am hoping it won't be too busy that day... But good to know I don't have to worry about getting party tickets now. I really wanted to wait until it was closer (and I haven't fully convinced DH that this is a must )

We always hit DHS the morning of our party.
