I just can't get past the fried lobster thing. I'm sure it's good, but I don't find it appealing. But yes, I enjoyed it enough for a repeat visit for sure.
Heheh, yep. Had to include that pic for the benefit of those who would appreciate it. I only regret not catching his black socks and brown canvas slip on sneakers in the photo.
Thanks! I'm sure you'll have fun with the kiddo. Sorry you can't indulge in adult meals, so I guess I'm glad you can get your vicarious thrills right here.
I don't think there was anything we detested. I didn't hear any complaints from the others. And yes, it was really good company! Michelle totally caught me off guard.
I hope you mean the GOOD list.
Ironically enough, I make a Spongebob reference later in my reviews. But yes, you could say she had the Krabby Patty dessert.
What order would you say would come first? Heheheheh.
Yes, fantastic would be one word to describe it.
Brenda's influencing people again!
I first read that as "recrap" and thought, "Huh?" Then I read it correctly. Heh. Agreed about the food and company.
Well, I had to comment about the hairy eyeball and the Sarah Palin lookalike in the background just because I noticed these things when I posted. And your expression isn't that goofy. I shudder to think what mine looked like.
I know whereof I speak in regards to your updating.
The fennel was the part that made me shy away from it. I like the leafy fennel, but not the seeds and spice "anise" flavoring much. I don't like the flavor of black licorice.
I thought the same thing. When people around you are leaving and the restaurant is emptying a bit, and you're still at a table, I guess that means you're having too good a time to leave.

It really didn't feel like we were there THAT long.
It was not shameful nor drunken looking! I liked the Vanna display of the rust bucket!

And I will add a giant OY that you even thought you needed a diet in that pic. I agree that you looked fabulous, regardless of your self-flagellating commentary.
Oh, and thanks again for PIMPING MY REPORT! Heheheheh.
I was going to save this pic until my Party for the Senses review, but I wanted to show you what my wine lanyard looked like. You can't see the full effect, but it's basically a sling of sorts to hold the wine glass so you can have the use of both hands for food and camera shots.
Let me tell you, even we bewby chicks can wear the wine lanyards without fear. I wore mine the entire night without any problems...as long as I kept it locked into the holder. I once tried to take it out and disconnected the ends, but I popped those back into place quickly. The lady on the left is Pam Smith, the lady who MC's a lot of the food and wine events and demos. She's been doing this for years. For me, it wouldn't be the festival without her.
Well, I highly recommend going there, as long as you take the rest of us with you. I'm sure you'll increase the enjoyment of your meal with the rest of us around.
Let's see...I have two events to cover next, but I am procrastinating. I'll try to get at least one up soon. Thanks for reading.
