The Non-Catchy Title PTR

Wow, yours is really great. I am still trying to figure out if I want to do a small one or a big one. I think I may do a big one for our room and a small one for the park. After all the one for the park doesn't need our travel plans and everything. Just the park items such as ressies, daily activities, etc. Thanks for the idea:)

My vote is for both ;)

Hi Amy:)
Visiting you from my PTR:) Wow, your family is just gorgeous. You must be so proud. It sounds like you are going to have a fabulous vacay:) I have one question, how did you do the chapters? I have been trying to do that for mine but can't figure it out:( I subscribed and can't wait to hear more:)

Bobbie

I am very proud of my family :goodvibes.

How awesome is that! I totally agree with the other person who said DIS'ers are the best!:worship: That was so sweet of her, and I'm glad that you now have 2 new atenna toppers to sport!! I had the same blue one a few years back, and I loved it!! I traded vehicles though, and the one I have now doesn't have any atenna, which is very disappointing!! I can't wait to hear more

I love the jewelry, by the way--too cute!:thumbsup2

Day 1 plans – Sat, Sept 18th.

We will wake up EARLY from whatever hotel I book in Florida & drive over to check into our hotel, CBR!!!
I’m sure our room will not be ready yet. We will get our tickets (or KTTW) & go to our 1st park – EPCOT!

Did you know that I’ve never been to WS in Epcot?! We didn’t have time on our last trip, we just park hopped on out of Epcot after we did everything in FW.
We ate counter service lunch in Mexico & that was the closest we came to WS!

I am super, super excited about seeing WS this time!!!

On our last & 1st WDW trip in 2008, we park hopped so much & did the waterparks a couple of days that we missed so much from Epcot, DHS & AK.
This trip we are not doing the waterparks even though they are so much fun & we LOVED them! :lovestruc
I did purchase park hoppers for this trip, but I do not plan on using them much. That way we will not miss as much as we did on our last trip.

So, back to day 1 plans-
We will check into hotel, then head over to Epcot.
We will start off in FW & ride Levi’s favorite ride – Test Track!

image0414.jpg

We have a late 10:45 brkfst at Akershus. This will be our brkfst & lunch for the day.

At some point, our CBR room will be ready & we will go unpack & get settled in.
We will then return to Epcot, finish up FW & start on WS.

We have 5:30 dinner reservations at Biergarten. I am so excited about seeing this restaurant’s entertainment.

I have two planned days for Epcot. What we do not finish today, we will do on next visit.
My Epcot Goals for today that I have never done.

  • Visa character pictures taken
  • Club Cool
  • Going to WS
  • Kim Possible Mission
  • Grey Goose Slushie (thanks to Queenofallthings)
  • Picture taken at night in front of Epcot ball
  • Seeing Illuminations

We will then go back to CBR & crash.

Next Chapter: Day 2 Plans

Those sound like awesome plans!! We like to split our Epcot time into two days--one for WS and one for FW. It works well for us, but only when we're on a longer trip.
The Mexico CS restaurant is our favorite place to eat in Epcot so far!!

I can't wait to see what the rest of your plans are!:thumbsup2

Your plans look GREAT!

I love your TT picture! The kids look so freaked out, but I'm sure they loved it considering its Levi's favorite ride! :goodvibes

I bet they are really going to enjoy the KP missions too. They seem to be really fun and take you all over the WS.

We LOVED Biergarten, I hope you do too!!!

Ta da!! I am all caught up and have lots of comments

First your children are adorable. I have niece and nephew twins and it is hard to believe that they will ever get that big (they are 4 now). They grow sooo fast!

We are staying Pop this trip. Mostly because I am frugal and don’t think we will spend too much time in our room for our first trip. I love the idea of staying in a moderate or something next time. But hopefully we love Pop and never want to try anything else so we can save ourselves some money

Your shrinky dinks are really neat. I have never heard of them. I will have to do some research.

Your autograph scrapbook looks so great. I am not a scrap booker but have promised myself I am going to make an amazing scrapbook when we get back

I love your Mickey shirts! I actually bought the red one from Wal-Mart as well. I really want to make some tie dye Mickey shirts. If I'm going to I really need to commit and get it done...were running out of time!!

Your antenna toppers are so cute! How nice of someone to send them to you.

Lastly I love your test track picture...their expressions are priceless!

Wow, couldn't imagine doing two TS on the same day! (We would be too stuffed from breakfast.) But, those are two yummy options. We enjoyed biergarten a lot when we went back in 2006. never did the Akerhaus breakfast, though.

I'm glad I have us scheduled for two days of Epcot this time. I was so dumb for not going to WS the last time! We were newbies & didn't think it would be any interest to kids.:sad2:
We really like the Mexico CS. It was nice eating by the lake. It's closed this Sept, so we will not get to eat there on this trip.

What a sweet diser to have sent your kids the antenna toppers!

Cute mickey earrings and necklace, what a good find.

Your day 1 intinerary looks good to me. Haven't tried Akershus breakfast, but we have done both lunch and dinner. It's so nice to get to see so many princesses in one place! The KP missions are fun, but not so easy. It is a good way to really see a country, but it takes awhile. Grey Goose Slushie sounds good, it is on my drink list this time too. I always feel like there is never enough time to see all of WS even spending 2 days in Epcot.

i looked up the shrinky dinks, and found out what they were, but didnt see where you could buy them.

any hints on places that carry them?

Your first day plans sound great! It's funny our last/first trip was so busy we kind of overlooked WS we walked around quick and that was it. TT is michael's fav. ride here too! Your antenna toppers are sooo cute, how nice DIS friends are!:goodvibes I am also looking foward to a slushie, didn't get one last time. Any luck on finding your other hotel yet?

That TT picture cracks me up everytime I see it. We rode TT 6x straight that day. That picture was from our 1st ride & Lexi/Levi must have believed we were really going to crash into the doors that lead outside!
I think I will enjoy the KP mission as much as they will!

Thanks for the compliments.
I'm frugal too. I do not even want to think of the price difference between mod & value :rotfl:. I think you have fun no matter where you stay in Disney!
I hope you post pics of that amazing scrapbook when you get back!
And, you're right, you only have a few weeks left to make the tie dye shirts. I've made some shirts, but havn't taken pics of them yet to post.
It would be too funny if we saw each other in Disney wearing our red Mickey shirts at the same time!

Wow, couldn't imagine doing two TS on the same day! (We would be too stuffed from breakfast.) But, those are two yummy options. We enjoyed biergarten a lot when we went back in 2006. never did the Akerhaus breakfast, though.

We have two days that we are eating TS Brkfst & dinner on the same day! We did that before & we didn't eat lunch on that day because we were not hungry. That would be too much food for us!
I made changes in our Dining reservations. I canceled BOTH Coral Reef & Tusker House lunch. Brad said he didn't want seafood, and I thought the kids would like Akershus better than Tuskers lunch.

That also gave me one day w/out any dining reservations. I kindof like the idea of having at least one day w/out worrying about making it to a reservation.

You've been MIA for a while. I notice I don't hear from you about shopping purchases!

It was sweet for her to send the toppers! I love seeing it on my car everyday!:goodvibes
I can't wait to do the KP mission, hopefully we will have enough time.
Grey Goose Slushie's, here we come!:drinking1

I'm glad I'm not the only one that overlooked WS. The topper is so cute! With your DH being a race car driver, I imagine TT is a favorite in your family! I keep forgetting about booking the other hotel. I've GOT to get that done this week!

Love the plans for your Epcot day-- especially the picture of your kids with Donald. =) Can't wait to hear more!

Day 1 Epcot plans sound perfect, nice and leisurely and smart way to start off your trip! Love the late breakfast idea....I dont' know why, but I never would have thought of doing that! My kids are up sooo early, that we just eat but it makes sense to do a light snack in the room and then have a late breakfast.....wish I had thought of it sooner! Oh well, always next trip!;)

Love, Love, Love the kids picture on TT!!!!!!!!!!! Priceless!!!!!! :cutie: Definately a framer!!!

Your ticker is really getting down there!! Woohoo!!!!!!!!!!!!:yay:

We saw Donald hanging out & there was no one else around! It was the only time we saw a character w/out a line of kids

sounds like a good first day!! 2 good meals at Epcot to start it off!!!

Thanks! We're ready to eat free dining! :woohoo:

My kids are early risers too. They usually get up anywhere between 5:30-6:30 am. The latest they ever sleep is 8:00 & that's rare! I don't know where they get it from, it sure isn't me!

I cannot believe my ticker & how fast the trip is coming!

Love your day 1 plans and the kids on TT are just priceless!!!

Club Cool is a lot of fun and we've tried all the flavors..even Beverly! :scared1: I'm hoping to get a Grey Goose slush as well. My DD is in love with the Kim Possible missions (and I think my DH is quite into them as well).

There needs to be a Disboards meet drinking Grey Goose Slushies!
