The No-Diet Diet--TOV's WISHes

I haven't posted since Tuesday cuz the latter half of this week has been VERY full for me.

Wedsday...I really REALLY screwed up. We had to go out shopping for some winter clothes for DS since it's gotten REALLY super cold and all he had was summer clothes. Anyway..DH wants to go out to eat and he wants CiCi's Pizza. Which, being all you can eat, I did. :(

Granted I did get hot and sweaty running around the mall for 3 hrs shopping for clothes for DS. But still...

And it went down hill from there. I didn't exercise yesterday, didn't exercise today (been working on my Halloween Costume).

I tried to watch what I ate and I did ok yesterday and today, I guess. But I've got to stay on track, which is very hard for me.

Let's look on the bright side - one or two good days a week is better than not even trying, right? ::yes:: Don't worry about not being perfect - it won't happen. Just try to do better more often.

Hang in there and don't give up! :sunny:

I'm going to. I've decided I MUST do better this coming week than I did the past week. It's very easy for me to exercise when DH isn't home (since I usually have at least 2-3 hrs alone before he gets home from work)because he tends to make fun of me. :( Which kind of sucks, tbh. I think he does it because he's seen me do this time and time again and fail. I think he thinks that I'm going to fail once again. Which I'm hoping I won't. :( I want, for once in my life, to succeed.

I've even got DS in on the act. I'll do my walking in the living room and he claps for me. :cheer2: Then I call him Mommy's Little Cheerleader, which makes him giggle and clap more. :cheer2:

Yesterday we went to the State Fair, and I can only hope the miles and miles of walking I did counterbalanced the mini-frosted sugar donut and the giant chili cheese dog I ate.
I'm probably not going to exercise today. I have a cold and I feel like crap. :(

Which is also good in that it makes me not hungry,so I'm not driven to eat the way I normally would be.

If you got out of the State Fair with only a mini donut and a chili cheese dog, you did GREAT! Besides, I bet you had a good time. Hopefully it helped get rid of some of your stress. Relaxing and recharging and having fun are important! :sunny:

We also snagged a free pacakge of Tia Rose whole wheat tortillas, which I used last night to make chicken fajitas. Yum! :teeth:

Today hasn't been too bad and I plan on exercising while watching one of my favorite reality tv shows, The Biggest Loser. :) I've felt pretty crappy today but I know I have to keep exercising and not let feeling crappy stop me.

Hey TOV-

You did a great job at the fair. We went to our State Fair on Sunday, and boy was I tempted!!

I'm sorry that you have a hard time working out when your DH is home. :( Keep at it, maybe in time he will come around and be more supportive.

:wave2: Just popping in to wish you a wonderful Thursday! :wave2:

I did pretty well Thursday. We went to KFC for dinner and I had only two wings and a leg,as well as pretty small portions of mashed potatoes, mac-n-cheese and a biscuit. :) I had two sodas, however, but that's alright. They were diet. :)

I'm sure you've been busy with working, with that sweet little boy of yours and with sewing your Halloween costume. Just wanted to pop in and send good wishes for a wonderful Friday and a happy weekend.

Just popping in to say that I hope you are doing well. Hang in there if you've had some bad days - it will get better!

Keep on
