The night in the middle - what to do?

I will be travelling to WDW first week of November. I wanted to go in October, but couldn't get any DVC accomodation.

For November I have got 1-3 and 5-7, and I am waitlisted for 4th.

Would it make any sense to see if I can get a cash ressie for this night? I really don't want to move for just 1 night!

Check with CRO. If you are waitlisted, MS would not have member cash nights available.

You might even be able to get the BAT code discount. Be sure to ask when you call CRO.

You get a room in the rafters .

BAT is the fall room discount code. There is also an AP rate that is a little better if you have an AP.

LOL, jjpenguin! If you follow the never ending quest for discounted rooms over on the Resort Board, you'll probably feel like hanging upside down!

What is it with Thursday night? I had a similar problem with Nov 11th. I got reservations for 6th to 10th and 12th to 16th in a 1BR. The 11th-Thursday was unavailable at any of the dvc resorts. The cm originally suggested a cash reservation for that night. I made this but it didn't make sense that we couldn't get anything on points--we had extra points to spend--and don't want to spend cash! I called back and got a reservation for a 2 BR on that night!
We are still on the waitlist for that night for a 1BR-- the 2BR means we will have to move but it saved $340 by using points that would expire. DH and I will have our own bedrooms for 1 night!LOL!
