I'm looking at our ADRs and the reviews of restaurants at WDW, and noticed that we have a couple of places where the experience is strongly affected by the quality of your server. In our case, WCC and Le Cellier. From what I can tell, Boma, CRT, Akershus, and CP aren't as dependent, but this is my first time and I don't know.

So, for those of you with spectacular experiences, which server do you tell your friends they need to ask for? In the spirit of happiness, you don't need to mention the waiters that totally missed the mark - but if you tell, I won't judge you.

Just so folks know I'm paying attention, here is what posters in this thread have said:

Artist Point
Izzy

California Grill
Ron
Stephen
Walter

Citricos
Kiera
Blond Nancy from Minnesota

Jiko
Michelle

Kouzzina's
Neil Patrick Harris

Le Cellier
Jess from Yellowknife
Patrick

Rose & Crown
Reece

WCC
Jeffro, MT, Bridget or Rafael - Day
Sam, Brittany, Suzanne or Kate - Night

Wolfgang Puck Cafe
Buc

Yachtsman Steakhouse
Oscar
Suzanne

I had seen before that if you go to Le Cellier you should ask for Patrick...and yes you should.

The adorable, funny, and hot, hot, hot server at Kouzzina's; I wish I could remember his name.

He didn't look a day over 16; we called him the Dowgie Howser of the restaurant business.

For three single women on a all-girls trip, he fit the bill just nicely. He even got another server to take a picture of the three of us with him.

If I could, I would put his picture under my pillow each night.....after cutting my other two friends out of the picture:love:

Oscar at the Yachtsman Steak house. He has been our waiter for many years and we have been lucky enough to get him most times. Suzanne is also another great server. Your right these people can make all the difference in the world to your dinner. They are the reason we usually go a couple of times to the Yachtsman on our trips.

Michelle at Jiko. Never had a bad server there, but Michelle was truly special.

We were last there in Oct 2009 and I recall Patrick saying he was about to get married, that he was near graduation and would be leaving Le Cellier before long. Poor memory on my part?

Might be a different Patrick...did he like hockey? This guy introduces himself as "the Canadian who doesn't like hockey"

Ohhhhh good thread! And I even have something to contribute! If you go to Artist Point, ask for Izzy. He's great, very funny, and an excellent server too! :)

Completely agree about Oscar. He is the best. My boys, 6 and 8, talk about him all the time.

Great idea for a thread! Thanks OP. :thumbsup2

California Grill - Stephen (I think he spells it that way). Tall, skinny, middle aged guy with glasses.

Citricos -
Keira
The Blonde Nancy from Minnesota

Le Cellier -
She might not be there anymore since we had her in Dec 09, but 'Jess from Yellowknife' was awesome.

'Our' Patrick was there for much longer than the usual year or so that non-residents get to stay and work in Epcot. He was studying graphic arts and was engaged. He served us 3 or 4 times over 3 visits spanning almost 2 years. He resembles Dave Foley from 'Kids in the Hall', hope the link works.
