good evening cheerleaders...

this is just one of those "i don't feel like doing a damn thing" kind of weekends...

hubby and i went shopping and bought him some new clothes and basically splurged a little! our paychecks are now back to "normal"...no wedding and honeymoon to worry about...no more shorted checks due to a lack of vacation time...so we went on a mini shopping spree...it was pretty fun!! i got a new purse and wallet and my copy of beauty and the beast on dvd...i'm going to get my hair cut tomorrow...i haven't cut it in over a year and it needs it...bad...

when we were at WDW, i discovered a new alcoholic beverage that i like...kungaloosh from the adventurers club!! i love these...and matthew figured out how to make one for me!! it has blackberry brandy, spiced rum, and strawberry and orange juices...so i am enjoying a kungaloosh as i sit here typing!! yum!!!

hope everyone's having a good weekend! i can't wait to hear all about teri's cruise when she gets back...

we were shopping today to.....

oh i forgot to mention earlier....all that furniture we moved last night in preparation for having our carpets cleaned....including taking out my water bed a week before my new bed is coming.........

the lady never showed up 2 hours after she was due here....she calls ....claims her van wouldn't start....I don't believe her either.....so I got out my own machine and did them myself then took the money I saved, went shopping and spent it

I'd love to do the mountain cabin thingie - I'm also going to be doing a "OMG, it's my 40th birthday!!" thingie...not sure where, but I do know I want to go someplace...hmmm

My sister and I are in the middle of planning to send our parents on a cruise for their upcoming 50th anniversary - which is on the 4th of July. (of course I have 2 brothers, too, but they have no say in the planning - they just have to fork over the $$) We're also going to have a party here in NJ, and I'm responsible for finding hotel rooms at the Jersey Shore in the beginning of summer that don't cost an arm and two legs...AND...my niece is getting married in August, so my sister is spazzing over that...she just had to give a deposit to the reception hall...of $3,000!! *THUD!*

All I can say is, I'm happy I have two sons!!

Gail--Ditto what Ann said---you can have a birthday cake in the Mountains. But, you don't have to worry about Smokey--he'll be hibernating!
But, geez---you get a lot of stuff planned!

Brandie--that drink sounds interesting. I hope you enjoy your week-end. I had one of those days yesterday, but, today, I have to do stuff (like buy food... )

No time to catch up on reading right now....Hope everyone is well....

Disney Cruise Line exceeded our expectations...I was personally shocked as I thought that I would not like it as well as Holland America Line....

Just one quick story while on board....We were waiting in line to grab a cocktail before the Disney Dreams show and there was this song playing...."you know I can't smile without you........I'm finding it hard to do anything..." And George says, "That is the Cookie song" and I was like, "what Cookie song???? Like from the Cookie Monster?" and he and Savannah were looking at me like I was crazy.....Finally, they said "YOU KNOW GAIL's SONG" "What did you do, come out here and forget all of your DIS friends?" I was in shock.......Like how could I have not gotten that.....

Life in Paradise...just makes you forget about everything and everyone else......

Ok, must go to do laundry now.....and take care of my poor sad daughter who keeps saying to herself, "I miss Komang" (our Server at dinner)

I....Devvie....am right here. I am off today so I was sleepin late

I posted last night and the post took so long to go thru, i ended up getting booted off first I keep getting "explorer error" messages and I have no idea what they mean or how to fix them
so if I vanish...that is why

now I am going to make a big batch of spaghetti sauce and meatballs. Thats what i usually do when I have a day off and Jerry doesn't. Then I freeze them and they last me till my next day off Then I neve have to make them on a work day
later I have 2 back to back soccer games and it is going to be freezing.

Teri...if you don't get your butt here and give us details I'm going to call you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ann, on each side of the letter "N" I have "B" or "M"......so I can call Amm or Abb ......how about Ajj.......that letter is just above or Ahh...that one too.....

teri ~ welcome back!! glad to hear that you had a good trip!!! looking forward to hearing details!!! well, as many details as can make it passed the censors anyway...

so, you want to see if i'll jump on the bandwagon for a meet with you guys, huh? and exactly what am i supposed to do with my new husband? (wait...don't answer that one) honeymooners just can't bear to be apart from the other for very long...well, at least for now anyway...i suppose it's a possibility though! it just depends on our schedule here and of course the checkbook also has a say in that matter...

my "i don't feel like doing a damn thing" weekend ended yesterday at about 4pm...hubby got on a cleaning kick and just wouldn't stop until it was all done...so i of course had to pitch in and help. but he did make me a wonderful dinner! homemade pasta sauce...i think it was a vodka sauce...bruschetta...caesar salad with homemade croutons...and a kungaloosh! i know, that kind of dinner really needed wine, but since it was sunday, we couldn't buy any here in the hoosier state. it just amazed me that he made the sauce from scratch...my idea of pasta sauce is whatever can or jar i can get open! he's such a good guy...he cooks, cleans, irons, does laundry...i think i'll keep him!

ok...i suppose i should really do something here at work...at least for a few hours...
