the newlywed's been...ummm...busy...yah, that's it!
no, seriously...i have been exhausted, again.
i discovered, over the weekend, that i am just too old to keep up at a 6 year old's roller skating party and then follow it by going barhopping the same night! i woke up, cuz i just couldn't sleep anymore, on saturday morning at about 6am. i let matthew sleep in a bit and woke him up around 8am or so with coffee and breakfast. (ok, i didn't have to ry really hard with breakfast...those pillsbury cans of orange rolls are just too damn easy!!) we finally get our act together and leave for ft wayne around 10:30am. get there around 12:30 or so...go right to my mom and dad's...watch the wedding dvd, look at pictures, and head to steak n shake for lunch. after lunch we drop the parents off and we head to karson's party. this little one is the light of my life! i've been a part of her life since the day she was born...she's one of my closest friend's daughters. her other daughter is khloe and she's a year old. they were having a joint bday party for them. it was lots of fun, but so very exhausting...i had forgotten how badly those skates hurt my feet. then shannon (the mommy), matthew, and myself hit piere's, which is our favorite nightclub. they actually had a great band there and when the band was on break, the dj was playing awesome music. we were there until 1am. had to drag shannon out, which is unusual, and then hit taco bell drive thru (drunk man's ritual) and drove back to shannon's. she decided that she wanted to look at our pictures then...it's now 2am and i am about to drop. fall asleep...khloe's up and at 'em at 7:15am! she comes crawling down the hall and that's it...the whole house is awake...went back to mom and dad's around 10am...went to lunch...and went back to mom and dad's..matthew tried to fix something on their computer, while i napped...then we left...about 4pm. home by 6pm...i thought i was gonna die!!!
i'm too old for that!! (i'm only 29) i feel as if i have just recovered this morning! i'm not usually a coffee drinker, and i had 2 cups yesterday morning...talk about caffeine rush! i totally rearranged my desk...i left work last night, went to dinner with sister and her fiance...had to chat with them cuz they are looking at moving to the kansas city, missouri area for a job offer...but, the fiance would move and my sister would stay here until july of next year. she's in grad school and will graduate in may and they are getting married in june of next year. matthew lived in kansas city for awhile, so he was offering them guidance.
then we went home and i demanded a back rub (newlywed perks!!) and fell asleep around 8:30pm...
i didn't realize that i had been away for a few pages...i'm almost done with our trip reports too...i have 2 more days left to post. after that, i'll be working on our website content...
this weekend at least we get to stay here in indy. we do get to go over and have lunch with some friends of ours. one of matthew's co-workers...his wife had a baby right before we left for our trip. so we're gonna go over and play with the baby...
teri...i'm so jealous that your cruise is coming up soon! i want another vacation!!! we were hoping for a
disney cruise next year, but we'll have to wait and see what we can do...i want to do the 7 day cruise and skip WDW this time around...
ok...this guy just walked in front of my office, nothing in his hands, but had his keys hanging from his mouth!
ok..i need to do something constructive here...i swear all's i do at work is people watch and DIS...

You can't disappear for even a couple of DAYS, or some people start talkin' trash about you - not us true PALS, though...uh uh, not us...no way... (cough, cough, choke)
